@drstein: Oh, I agree it's definitely overblown, and I was not calling you a troll (that was the other guy). My contention was that it wasn't none. There are about as many (fatal) shark attacks, which shows another irrational fear, but it's not none.
@MacWins09: A fraud? What does that even mean?
@The Lab: And it's a shitty mousetrap.
@MacWins09: You said that to be funny, right?
I don't understand how anyone with a brain can put a CRT big enough to kill someone in a location it can fall. These things are not LCDs. They don't fall from being nudged. They are big and deep, and their center of gravity is low. You would have to put the TV in a dangerous situation to begin with. Anyone who has a…
@GuyWithDogs: Usually I'd say nice one, but there is nothing that makes me believe you're not serious.
@drstein: That can't possibly be true. What about the girl who died because her boyfriend kissed her after eating a Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwich.

@iain010100: I have my own media center using the actually fucking amazing Hauppauge HD HVR. I have two Dish Network receivers and a Bluray and HD-DVD player. No Xbox or PS3 or Wii. I do, however, have an xbox360 controller for my PC which I use JoyToKey with.
They're called "wine charms".
On a side note, how did Google land the single-digit IP addresses? Those must be pretty expensive.
Does anyone know of similar new tab replacement extensions for firefox?
@Prairie Moon: So I'm freaking out thinking I might have misspelled something, which is why i don't use misspell often.
@BrentAegisthus: If they need this guide, that's exactly what they are. And if calling them that is going to offend them, then I would bet large sums of money on this document doing NOTHING to fix their habits.
@Ronny: Nope, you're missing the point. Most dictionary cracks are very fast on one or two word phrases, but if you're up around 7 or 8 words that increases the difficulty by a power of 7 or 8. You have to check all the one word, two, three, four, five, 6, 7, 8 word combinations, caps and not, so it really is pretty…
@tylerf: I have a grandmother who's semi-literate as well. I think most people just get technology-shock the first time they get around a computer. If you just exercise some simple common sense it is pretty easy to do.
@quail: Or, you know, don't work for a company that's so incompetent. Unless you're applying to fix that.
