I was able to get a used “new 3DS XL” back in January from Gamestop for $149.99 CDN and it felt like a steal at the time. I’ve since started looking for some of the DS/3DS games I ignored at the time, and some of the prices are insane. Let’s just say I picked the wrong time to get into Dragon Quest.

I didn’t think his previous Netflix specials were funny, more like mildly amusing in an “I see what you did there” sort of way.

Remind me again how the USA isn’t some third world shithole banana republic?

I’ve seen both of them at least twice, I think, but I still can’t remember anything about them except for the kleptomaniac CGI mole thing.

You really should stop giving these scam artists press coverage. https://kotaku.com/youtuber-accuses-million-dollar-retro-game-sales-of-bei-1847557296

Ted Lasso is absolutely delightful and I’m glad it won. I would’ve given the sketch comedy to A Black Lady Sketch Show over SNL.

Maybe in a dream sequence?

For me the Uncharted series is the biggest offender in terms of jarring contrast between cutscenes and gameplay. I still love the series, but I have to use some serious mental gymnastics to justify caring about a character that murders thousands of people over the course of a game. I have to essentially pretend the

The developers got paid for their work. This isn’t some small indie developer’s artistic vision, it’s a goddamn remake of one of the bestselling games of all-time. It exists purely to make money for Blizzard/Activision’s shareholders, that is it. There are literally thousands of games from small teams that actually

As someone who owns all the MCU films on Blu-ray, I agree with Denis Villeneuve. The thing is, I love the MCU formula. I also love Villeneuve’s films, and I cannot wait for Dune.

30,000 views so far. Now it’s on Kotaku, so it will show up in news feeds, leading to more clicks, and more articles, and more views.

My thoughts exactly. Everything in that house is a pile of destroyed garbage that looks like it went through a nuclear apocalypse, but somehow all the games survived unscathed in random piles of junk. The guy was a hoarder that obviously didn’t take care of his stuff, but for some reason he kept his games factory

Did they seriously split this into 36 separate slides?

I remember when I first played SMB, leaning right on the couch, and flicking the controller up every time I needed to jump, as if the physical motion would give Mario some extra speed/height. I remember other people doing it as well. I’d played games a lot before on the Atari 2600, without moving my body, so I assume

Ideally you would want unions or government legislation to prevent abusive working conditions, but we’re in the throes of late-stage capitalism here, so although my individual actions will most likely make zero difference in the long run, at least I can sleep better knowing I didn’t give one cent of my money to

All I can do is make sure I buy the games from these good developers, and skip the releases from the awful companies.

I mean, with all due respect to the employees and the people who enjoyed their games, but fuck them? This especially sucks, first and foremost, for the women of Texas, and maybe the rest of that country. Sure it’s kind of sad, that now I won’t ever play a game about a shark, but in the grand scheme of things, that’s

Congratulations. I’m looking forward to your articles.

Are these the same companies that put their games on sale in the Nintendo eShop for a few cents so that they rocket to the top of the sales charts, then raising the price back up, and fooling unsuspecting customers into thinking they are good games?

I loved the Stephen King meets Twin Peaks vibe of the game. I was a little bit let down by the gameplay, but I still finished it because of the story. I can’t wait to see what this will look like ray traced on an RTX 3080.
