That was the first thing I thought of when I read this news. I had to send my save file (PC version) to a friend back in the day so they could pass them for me.

Yeah, I follow Animal Crossing, and the fans are chomping at the bit for new content. A lot of them would even be willing to pay. Even if  it’s only a fraction of the purchase base, that’s still a lot of profit Nintendo is leaving on the table. Hell, I would pay for more content.

That was maybe true a few years ago, but right now it’s really difficult to hire programmers unless you’re willing to settle for interns or pay higher than average salaries, and even then there’s not a lot of supply.

I would pay monthly for an AC game that remains single player but constantly adds historical open world areas to explore, but if there’s so much as a whiff of multiplayer or equipment that requires grinding or real-world money, then they can go straight to hell with that bullshit.

The actual art will be forever hidden from view behind layers of acrylic, plastic, and cardboard never to be seen or experienced by the eventual purchaser. How sad.

As a fan of both the F&F series and musicals (stage or screen), I want this. Now I will be sad if it never happens. Mama Mia has already demonstrated that not everyone involved needs to have any singing skills for a musical to be enjoyable. C’mon Vin, DO IT.

I have loved every Zelda game except for The Adventure of Link and Breath of the Wild. It felt too much like work. Maybe I was playing it wrong. An open-world game should never make you feel like that.
