I’m guessing you don’t live anywhere near Texas, because I see Platinum and King Ranch F-150s and F-250s on the road every day, along with Laramie RAMs and whatever the high spec Chevy/GM is called.

I don’t think we’re ever going to be swimming in electric pickups simply because they’re going to be so damned expensive. There are only so many people willing and able to spend $75k+ on a pickup. I see hundreds of F150s every day but only a handful are the high-zoot “Platinum” trim level.

On the plus side, the rest of the family went on to enjoy a four-day overbearing-Dad-less vacation of a lifetime!
