Its my opinion that this is a far better choice for most people compared to a pure EV. All the benefits, none of the drawbacks. More-or-less.

The ocean is really big and that diamond is really tiny. Plus the ocean currents would have carried it away by the time they’d scramble a team to look for it.

Given how many millions it would sell for, it would probably be economically feasible to go down and search for it. The search area could still be a couple of square miles, given the vagaries of deep currents. But I think they’d have a reasonable chance of recovering it.

“That really sucks lady!”

Jesus tap dancing Christ, how many times do we have to do this, it wasn’t about the area of the floating door, it’s about how much weight it could support. If Rose & Jack were on the door it would have partially submerged & Rose would have died of hypothermia before the lifeboat arrived.

We’re hoping that the Wilderness edition...”

I feel like we still can’t completely comprehend how big it is to be banned for life from Twitter. Whether we like it or not, Twitter is ubiquitous in today’s world and being banned from it for life is serious. It’s like being banned from every single McDonald’s in the world. You’re banned from something extremely

One thing that surprises me is how much Trump’s dropped out of the spotlight since leaving office. Even though it was a relief not having to hear about his tweets constantly, I didn’t think it would make as much of an impact as it has.

Thank you for posting this. Even though Jalopnik is theoretically a light and fluffy site for non-serious distractions and snarky one-liners, some things are just too important to not point out.

It can be, and is, about both.

All that money to look like the top Mary Kay rep. in Dubai.

Sounds like they hit a wind shear on final approach and the pilot was trying to make light of it.
Even seasoned ex-military pilots don’t for a second forget where there are when sitting in the cockpit of a civilian heavy aircraft.

It was ‘07 or ‘08. I was coming from business trip from Helsinki (I live a bit more north in Oulu) on Blue1 (SAS more economical daughter company). The plane was about to start landing stuff and suddenly it went almost to 90 degrees sideways. Whole cabin made a quite a noise. The plane rightened itself and embarraced

I am a firm believer in the truth of ACAB...but it seems pretty likely Bruce was drunk and knew the time it takes to get a blood test gives him time to sober up/deny he was ever drunk.

ACAB......but so are all those who operate vehicles while intoxicated.

So it will cost 75% less than MIR and be available on Alibaba? Will you order one for Sandy Monroe to have a look at?

It’s a lot more reasonable for something like this though. It’s one thing for a consumer product that has a very flexible trade space for a design but this is a very specific purpose built thing with a narrow performance envelope. Sometimes even if you set out to reinvent the wheel you still end up settling on a

Did we read the same thing? The point of the article was that cars are designed to crash to pass a certain test, the test being designed around the average adult male, who is difference physiologically than the average adult female. Hence the difference in observed crash outcomes.

I’m more of a 1st through 3rd Gen purest.  Why put a face on a car when in real life, cars don’t have eyes.  Kids can use their imaginations just like adults and imagine the Lil Tikes has eyes.... Bring back the OG version.
