This is a man who has no idea how to live outside of the bubble he was raised in. He doesn’t realize he is going to be questioned and disagreed with and fact-checked and that he doesn’t get to just wave his hand and have things his way or have things he’s done or said disappeared, like he’s now attempting to do with

Did we not once know that Ben was a gambling addict? I feel like this was an established thing, then the next thing I knew he was doing ads for casinos.

What I don’t like is the disingenuous press coverage. Like, please, do not serve up an interview with Maud Apatow about the audition process or Spielberg’s daughter about grinding it out in film school. We are not stupid.

“Lifeline”? These people have millions and millions of dollars. If they didn’t want to be in the public eye they wouldn’t be.

He and Aniston are both in the Sandler Cinematic Universe.

Two of these people have a podcast devoted to the behind scenes of this show but they don’t acknowledge that it was a notorious hell-mouth of a show and they evidently gloss over the most infamous/salacious/tragic stories.

Everyday is Festivus for these two.

Ehhh.  It’s nice she’s home but this trade was really not in the best interest of all that is right in the world so don’t expect people to be super-happy to celebrate her.

I think this is it. She’s mean and not particularly clever so she goes for obvious things she thinks will hurt people. You’re fat, you’re short, you’re tall, you’re mannish, you’ve got freckles. A Black woman has fake hair, a hispanic woman is the maid. The eye-rollingly obvious insults of the mean dummy.

If they “played players what they are worth” they’d be sending the players invoices instead of paychecks. The WNBA loses money and is kept afloat by the NBA as a PR gambit.

Like those women who join the real housewives shows but claim to have never seen an episode before!

I don’t like the way Jez or Jez commenters are responding to this story either. Adultery isn’t cute and sexy, it’s wrong and gross and extremely inappropriate in the workplace in particular. It’s remarkable how different the reaction has been on the AV Club.

People don’t like Olivia Munn.

I remember when Sarah Ferguson and Prince Andrew divorced and she was something of a sensation: a commoner who was scandalous and was ready to spill about the Royals. She even got the Oprah interview!

Firerose hahahhahahahaha

God, Will Smith is just compulsively a phoney baloney.

God, Will Smith is just compulsively a phoney baloney.

When Carvey, Spade and Ben Stiller reminisced about The Poseidon Adventure on The Fly on the Wall podcast.

I knew nothing about him but looked him up after your post and, yeah, lots of mediocrity.  Lots of “Why isn’t this better?  This is almost good but it never quite works.”  Including this movie.

Not to be a dolt, but, of all the visualizations possible they picked on that looks just like Inside Out? And there was the one in Soul, too?
