It was the CCO, not the CEO. Regardless, they were remarkably poorly run, from the old CEO to this woman to Mr. Big dropping dead to pricing all over the place to now what sounds like insider trading.  Just amateur hour from top down.

He’s been there about a year, but has only been able to teach for six months of that time-he needed ear surgery, then tore a pec muscle. I don’t think he’d qualify for LTD since he’s not been there for very long.

He can be hard to understand sometimes, but 1. that’s part of his charm 2. it’s not like he’s giving you directions on how to disarm a bomb-if you miss a few words during a weight workout who cares? and 3. obviously that’s how he sounded before they hired him.

His kids aren't even tow-heads.

The whole thing is fantastic. My favorite part was Brenda Lee talking about Patsy Cline raising hell about being underpaid. “No sir, you did not mess with Miss Patsy.”

Yes!  Love Van Lear Rose.  Check out her appearance on Letterman with Jack doing Portland, Oregon.

Check out the fifth episode of Ken Burns’ PBS documentary “Country Music” to appreciate how both radical and gracious she was.  Jack White tears up discussing her songwriting brilliance.

This movie 100% should have been on streaming. People weren’t going to see romcoms before the pandemic and they still aren’t going to see almost anything now, other than superheroes or Tom Cruise.

Leo DiCaprio and Steve Harrington

Because tomorrow the “colleague” could decide actually she felt pressured into this relationship by one of the the highest powered guys in the organization. Or one of their other colleagues could decide that this colleague was receiving special treatment because of this relationship. Either way, the Celtics would be

I’ve tried to watch this, but, and I’m a Minnesotan married to a Brit, I frequently cannot understand what the fuck they are saying.  Are they low-talkers or mumblers?  It’s all hushed and none of them appeal to me so I can’t bother with it.

Ha!  Sumner Redstone is for sure on Southern Charm and went to high school with Shep.

....I don’t know. The Vikings had a guy who was Ragnar, the Viking mascot, and he asked for more money and they were like, yeah, no and that was it, no more Ragnar.  This stuff is so ancillary to the game would anyone miss it if it was gone?

What if he broke up with her because Giselle is now free!  That would be better than Bennifer.

I was under the impression that “serving papers” in such a way was only a last resort type thing, when other more professional/discreet avenues (eg via lawyers or certified mail) had been dodged. Is that wrong?

His music would fit right in on your local Lite-FM station, right in between Bread and Richard Marx. That’s not an insult-I’d rather listen to “Can’t Smile Without You than most new music-but the hype around his music is confusing, since usually easy listening gets made fun of.

When she talks about worrying about how the trauma of having found her dead would stay with her sister forever, it is very human. When people are so sure their life is ending that they get past “fearing for their life” and start fearing for how those left behind will deal with their death, it is moving and humbling.

God, my brain went in a different direction, but I ‘m sure you are right.

I’m obsessed with the “looks like a Columbine kid” comment.  What does that mean?!  I sullied myself by looking at three different links on the Post and I still don’t get it, but they imply the comment is what started this incident.

I get that she is mentally ill.
