Ok. California is about 5% of the country.

Let’s not go down the road of assuming attending a counter protest is an act of aggression.
I can’t post the link but new Gawker had a piece on it a few days ago. It sounds like they simultaneously got rid of a bunch of people and wanted more content produced? Meanwhile Rich is still here writing really long boring pieces on stuff no one cares about.
I agree it’s insane. And I would get as far from that person as I could (I left the grocery store and told the manager why). But it’s not illegal to do it so you can’t say legally it’s an act of aggression to have a gun.
Seeing a guy strapped in the cereal aisle of the grocery story made me sick to my stomach, but a person can bring a gun pretty much anywhere in this country. You can’t assume it’s an act of aggression, despite what common sense and your instincts tell you.
I think the ultimate uncomfortable truth is that most people aren’t brave. They don’t do the hard thing that comes at a steep cost to them-they keep their head down and make it easy for themselves. That’s what Meryl Streep, Quentin Tarentino, Matt Damon, etc. did with Weinstein and that’s what Justin Timberlake did…
You are right-he’s cute! And I think he’s funny. But, I mean, beyond the hot women he is with, people just seem to really like him and want to be around him. He’s got some kind of star power.
Wait, are we back to pretending we think this was truly a “wardrobe malfunction”/accident? I thought it was pretty much understood both JT and JJ were in on it, then quickly disavowed it after the blow up.
I disagree. Obviously, Dolly is a strong person, but she doesn’t have that don’t mess with me hardness to her (neither does Loretta Lynn or Reba). If a story came out that KM got into a fight in a bar, I would be 0% surprise.
Pete must be insanely charismatic.
Couldn’t they just swap him our for the guy who was JAG for 20 years that none of us know.
I am late to the game wrt Kacey Musgraves and my impression of her was that she was the latest in the illustrious line of hard ass, tough broads that have been shaping country music, from Patsy Cline to Miranda Lambert. I guess I missed the girl next door era.
Hahahaha! I’m sure you are right and I should realize that, but why is he even around at all? Why would they let him in the shareholders meeting or the office? Why wouldn’t they have totally cut him off and disowned him?
I am dumb and going to ask a dumb question: Why did Kendall think blowing the whistle on his dad would do anything other than lose the family the company? How did he think, for instance, he could meet with Josh as a united front with the dad he’s trying to send to jail?
Jemima Khan has some stories to tell.
Someone was paralyzed at his show a few years ago and he’s twice been charged with inciting a riot at his concerts. After all that, the ads for this festival still encouraged attendees to “rage”. I’m going to guess Eddie Vedder didn’t lean into it in quite the same way.
How would someone with his track record even get a permit to have a show like this?
Wow, he’s a completely different kind of dickhead than I thought!
Jack? So Jack Pratt? I missed this.
Yes, it always seems pandering and phony.
