“It’s unclear why the officer parked on the tracks”
We need to be paying our police officers more, so that they can afford to hire people who aren’t this goddamn stupid.
Officers responded by emptying their clips into the back of the departing train.
Faced with pretty much the same situation I went with a used Volt, thinking the engine made it an EV with a superpower. Now my stress isn’t range anxiety, its how to burn the gas in the tank before it goes bad.
I’m a writer & no Victorian prude by any means, but the consistent use of vulgar slang (other than satire) can often be an indicator of a less intelligent author & make one skeptical of the subject matter.

If it had been marketed as a cheap throw away car like the Neon was, and dealers kept a ton of base models in stock, it might have been ok.
They only fallen to the 2nd place
Do they look like Rivian? Or just me?
“the Business Plot would have seen wealthy businessmen overthrow president Franklin D. Roosevelt and install a Nazi-friendly military dictatorship”
The 05 Phaeton W12 had an MSRP just south of 100 grand. The Arteon is 45-50k depending on spec. VW hasn’t limited themselves to budget cars in a long time. And frankly no VW is a “people’s car” anymore - the demand constant thorough maintenance beyond what most Japanese cars require, they eat oil like it’s canapes at…
