There is a single law that would improve manufacturing in America. One law.

If I were an alien sitting above the Earth in my spaceship, observing the American right shredding the Constitution and marching us towards a dictatorship, I would want to see their version of “The Night of the Long Knives”, where schmucks like Musk will get their comeuppance. Unfortunately, I live here and would be…
If I thought he meant car owners... then he’d still be a reprehensible scumbag that nobody in their right mind ought to vote for, but at least it’d be a policy for the ordinary American. However, he’s going to be subsidizing dealers and manufacturers, to inflate corporate profits while costs will be passed on to…
The Car salesman in me: Holy Shit!!!!
At this point, Jaguar is as much a zombie as Saab was once GM sold them. It’s not a matter of it, it’s when. Unless tastes change, there is simply no reason for both Jaguar and Land Rover to exist.
Jaguar had a good run. I will miss them when they are gone.
No, they don’t deserve it. They’re horrible to drive, loud, and incredibly inefficient, but they’re also boatloads of fun and we humans often make irrational choices. We eat crap food, we date and marry people that are bad for us, we spend too much time watching TV and Instagram videos. So I think all the “things” are…
I’ve been saying this for a while. It’s depressing how much stuff GM pioneered and then dumped. GM should have been Tesla, but instead of setting up a separate division to build electric cars, they shelved all the work they’d done on the EV-1 (which had a small but passionate following) and moved on. Same thing with…
IMHO, the whole car is bad. That side profile is just as wrong as the predator face. Make a new SC300/400 already. That car was lovely.
It’s the grill. I cannot get over it, and I can cannot forgive it.
I was surprised, too, because I can’t picture a 7-11 with gas pumps. I went to their website to look at locations near my zip code, and it tells you which locations have gas. It appears somewhere around 30% of 7-11's sell gas, (9 out of 30 in my neck of the woods).
some do. some have EV chargers now too. the one by my house has the lowest DCFC rates too... same cost as my electricity at home, which is super rare for a DC charger.
You buy a pickup truck, a vehicle that by definition keeps your stuff unsecured and exposed to the elements, because one day, maybe, you may help your friend move or carry a domestic appliance that otherwise will not fit in the truck of a car.
Ford has better quality control than Tesla.
not in all location but they certainly do.
Yes, especially if you eat their bean & cheese burritos.
ROFL! How dead at the wheel do you need to be to allow the car to drive itself THAT FAR down the VERY BUMPY train tracks? That is an *impressive* level of stupidity for both Tesla and this driver.
In the rear seat we once found magic in the rhythmic dance of power line shadows racing across our laps. Today, that enchanting ballet is replaced by the glow of handheld zombie-screens. Yet that silent waltz of light and shadow still continues outside the window, yearning to entertain and to become delight for the…
“My Brutal Commute Is Killing My Cars! What Should I Buy?”
Why do people subject themselves to a 75-mile one way commute? The sheer amount of time lost commuting is just staggering.
