Having gone to Catholic they take library security very seriously. I don’t think the base would care much if he said something positive about Hitler. Working in politics I’ve had on way too many occasions and most of the time innocent looking evangelicals bring up that Hitler did good things too. I don’t know who told them that but I usually end a conversation politely after that.
