Here’s a little story: I had a private loan with Sallie Mae, and I opted to make payments while in school to keep the balance from ballooning before I graduated.

If describing them as reparations catches on, probably not.

New Zealander here, I have heard more than a few people say they would love Trump to build the wall but make it go all the way around the U.S hoping that none of this shit spills out to the rest of the world.

I can’t decide which thought is more frightening:

He famously (or infamously, if we’re being accurate) said he wanted to get rid of the Department of Energy (except he couldn’t remember the name of it, oops!), but he didn’t actually know what the Department of Energy does?

In essence Trump’s campaign was so vociferously divisive and its victory against the Republican establishment so crushing that hes basically broken the spirit of the GOP and they will now do whatever he wants.

And what’s crazy is that tactic legit works on some people.

He’s slated to replace Dr. Ernest Moniz. (PhD in Theoretical Physics from Stanford).

“Winter White House”? What an asshole.

Yet he has time to sit down and watch and ragetweet for an hour or two every time SNL makes fun of him? Nah. He’s just illiterate.

Trump wishes he had an ounce of Burgundy’s charisma.

The good old days when she appeared to be the worst of it.

This fucker is the least intellectually curious person I’ve ever seen.

Hot take: Religious people are hypocrites. They don’t care about things like prayers or following the word of God.

I’m not sure what you mean. I’m just saying Trump doesn’t strike me as a trickle-down conservative so no reason for him to support this. Trump is not as conservative on economic issues as other Republicans so he knows repealing the ACA will make a huge mess and the fact that the press won’t report on all the poor

True, but these speeches & questions do reinforce how much easier it is to look good when you’re part of the opposition party and have no real power.

Or they are doing their jobs speaking for their constituents?

tim kaine, al franken, murphy, bernie, bennet, elizabeth warren...

My company seems to value personality over people who can actually get the job done. Its frustrating trying to work when your coworkers are shit at their job but they are “fun to be around”.
