Heh. My father once had a car (his first MGB, I think) that had a manual switch for the reverse lights. He installed some absurdly high candlepower bulbs in there for exactly that purpose.

I, for one, disagree. I prefer the amber lamp aesthetically, and functionally. It’s nice to know someone’s actually turning and not just tapping the brake constantly because they’re tailgating.
