I’d be lying if I didn’t say I felt a little guilty about not liking the car so much. I used to be a big fan of Honda, even after I didn’t own one, so this was a huge letdown. But it’s (the base model) is still nothing more than an uninspired economy car designed to appeal to the masses and it shows.

Rented a 2017 Civic last month and abhorred it. Could not wait to get out of it. Reminded me WAY too much of my 91 Accord and while that car WAS great 15 years ago when I was a teen, it sure isn’t now. Civic didn’t handle particularly well and didn’t have much ‘get up and go’, either. I found the ergonomics to be

Every time I see something like this I add another year to my “countdown before I watch NASCAR again”.

Segue down a rabbit trail, but if you’re in Canada, don’t support Sears. They’re shutting down and all of the employees were going to lose their severance and pensions, but the ‘management’ all got to keep their nice big bonuses.

I know you’re an American site and don’t care much about hockey, but NHL 18 lands September 15.

A quick look at Tire Rack and quick math proves YOU wrong. OEM Tires are ~$900 for a set of 4.

Just a Titanium edition hatchback. But I’m of the opinion that tires are the second most important part of your vehicle. And the Super Sports were only $40 more/tire than the OEM tires and were much higher rated in every regard (including mileage). Pretty easy decision.

No chance. I’ll spend at least $6900 on tires for my Focus over 300000 miles and the tires on a Tesla are sure to cost a lot more than the tires I run on my car. (And I run 18" Pilot Super Sports, which aren’t exactly cheap)

Sorry about your burger; that’s gross.

I don’t know where you’re from, but almost everyone I know gets additional benefits from their employers. Not everything is covered by our taxes. Eyes, prescriptions etc.

So if I’m in Chicago, I’m calling my dealer to find out what the status of their technicians are before I’m bringing my car back to them.

Canadian here. My employer (and my wife’s employer) still pay health benefits.

Jeez, way to scare me.

Eh, I think it’s an aesthetic improvement. Reminds me of a C4 Corvette vs a Nissan 300z.

I’m more angry with the lack of support and bleak outlook on the future of the franchise than I am with the Mass 3 ending or any of the Andromeda issues.

Which is too bad because it is better looking than the convertible.

Have the G502 Proteus and love it. Successor to the G500.

I got to the third picture (the one from the front) before I audibly exclaimed “Oh, ew!”

Huh. I always thought that was a Real Time Racing livery, not an Acura livery. Still a pretty nice once (though not as nice as it was a few years ago).

You know, I’m not much for that genre of music, but I always did like Steve Earle’s Copperhead Road. Oh youtube...
