I can't wait to see this but I doubt that it will ever come out near me. Hopefully it leaks soon-ish.

I have no idea what happened to my comment, it posted to the wrong person. Anyway…

I am incredibly unfamiliar with Andrea Arnold but I definitely want to check out her other work. But honestly that sounds a bit of a mess.

N/A

He will definitely receive an Honorary Oscar in a couple years time, which I would be completely okay with. He has 12 nominations, another one for Sicario won't change the mind of the Academy.

Happy belated birthday. Sorry about the dude problems, you deserve much better.

I also watched Sicario this week and I hated myself for not watching it in theaters. Driving through Juarez was so well done and so breathtaking between the shots, the score, and where the camera was placed. I see Mad Max taking the Oscar but I hope both director and cinematographer get nominated because just that

David Oyelowo not being nominated for an Oscar for his role in Selma might be one of the worst things that the Academy has ever done. It is breathtaking how he adapts into his role, especially those speeches which were all written for the film due to rights issues. I haven't had a chance yet to watch Nightengale but

I love The Holiday. It is easily a Christmas film that I watch when it is not Christmas. I used to hate the Cameron Diaz/Jude Law storyline but I have grown to love it over the years.

I completely agree with you on Tarantino thinking he is cool v knowing when you are cool. I will admit to never actually watching any of his films and I have no interest. He just doesn't attract me at all.

You would love Bojack. It takes a couple episodes to get into, luckily only 30 minutes episodes, but it really soars in the back half of S1 and has a fantastic S2. It deals with so many issues and the anthropomorphic work is so fascinating.
