The apology was because Liefeld was basically telling him that he should audition for the role. Crowe is a large enough star that he doesn’t audition, he’s sent a script and he says if he’s interested and negotiations happen from there.
combining them brought in just under $900 million. in the wb’s first-ever shared universe film. believe what you will, but they are thrilled with those results.
Bravo for “Two Thors, Both Alike in Dignity.”
Wow, I’m genuinely surprised by how much I like these. The knives on the guns for the Yellow Ranger are an especially nice touch.
There’s a reason for that. Aside from what Paul Williams said below about promoting one show the same week another show is about to hit (you don’t want to clutter the news channel too much), there’s also a matter of pacing. Okay, so there are leaked set pictures, so they release promotional shots of the characters in…
I don’t disagree with anything you said, but Wright pushed Ant-Man back in favor of doing The World’s End because one of the producers (who had been involved with Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz) had been diagnosed with cancer and he wanted to get the third movie made before he was unable to work on it. That’s a pretty…
I’m curious about Green Arrow showing up here; in the game, he had already died at Superman’s hand. (the one that we got to play as was from the “main” universe that all the other regular characters came from)

The subtlety that I’m talking about is in regards to their incorporation of the songs.
Raul Julia is hilariously wonderful in it.
It probably didn’t help that it was released just before Moulin Rouge, which while also featuring contemporary music in a grossly incorrect time period, did it with a lot more subtlety.
As I recall, part of why Deathstroke isn’t coming back is because the actor is beyond salty with the production team. They could recast, but... ugh.
...I completely missed that and took your statement at face value. Whoops. :)

If you’re in the US, the movie is on Netflix. You could check it out there.

True Lies is such a fantastic movie, and he’s definitely one of the reasons. Such a great, slimy character.
I didn’t mind the host segments; it gave them an opportunity to do a longer-form riff on the movie, and/or to set up additional references during the movie riffing. It was just the invention exchange that I disliked (partially because it had literally nothing to do with either thing I just mentioned; it was wholly…
Well gods dammit.
...I genuinely did not know it had already aired until this article. It has been “coming soon” for so long that I just assumed it still was.
Nope.
