Yeah, that is pretty clear to anyone who rides a bike. The point was that cars are more dangerous that bikes. The fact that I can kill myself by running into a car/tree/ground/errant walnut on my bike doesn’t equalize them.

I’ve been pricing out child care in my area: $3,300 monthly. For one kid. At least there’s a $2000 annual child care credit I can claim on my taxes. Yay!

I’d be salty, but at least the corporate income tax rate is artificially low, which I hear is allowing some really great returns for shareholders.

Fuck all that dusty great recession exuses. The problem isn’t some past event we can shrug our shoulders and wait to live out. It’s happening now and is getting worse: 5 day a week daycare for toddlers in my area is about $15,000 per child per year. I have two in that range, so that’s $30,000.

Now that he no longer plays for the Vile New England Patriots, he’s a whole lot more palatable.

I was told about 12,000 to 15,000 miles of normal driving and... $400 apiece? Can’t remember exactly.
