Windows 10 *DOES* install itself. Microsoft has made it into an update because they want people to use it instead of anything else.
It isn’t right and should be against the law in some form. This has caused us nothing but headaches at work because it can even nail ya when all updates are controlled by the admin. It still slides in like a parasite and causes problems. We have loads of software that will not run properly on Win 10 so we need Win 7.…
sounds like they turned off auto updates and still had this happen. I’ve been seeing a lot of reports that it doesnt really matter what you do, it will start downloading the update at some point
I know people hate on all dealerships, but this is another good reason to deal with a franchise dealer that cares far more about reputation and has a manufacturer to keep happy when it comes to customer service.
Local media reporter = all tape on a car is duct tape
Is that an actual picture of the taped-over light? Because it looks more like electrical tape than duct tape.
I think if you are buying a 16-year-old BMW for $4500 bringing your own OBD-II shouldn’t be an issue. If the dealership has a problem with it, there is your red flag.
“Then I had this moment of panic because a puppy without a collar is a stray; they don’t have anyone to look after them. [...] It’s a sad thing to say, but there’s not love from the heart in me for Colin–but what I have got is someone who is there for me and I’m happy with that.”
This doesn’t sound super healthy? If…
The Trans-Am is the type of car that makes you want to be in a Camry or a late-model minivan, just to see the impotent rage/sadness on the owner’s face when you walk them at a stoplight.
As much as I love Land Cruisers (I drive a 200 Series), I would skip this one. There is just too much work to be done.
An old, thirsty, slow, beat up, rusty “Land Dawdler”. What the F**k for? So, so many other better choices at the same money. This should be priced in the $1,500 territory. Crack pipe at that price. Confused as the the new red wire running to the side in the engine bay. Bypassing something?
I’d pay good money for a David Attenborough narrated documentary on mustangs.
Just about any RWD car with 300Hp or better can get loose on a wet road surface especially when too much throttle is applied. Natually it had to be a Mustang to demonstrate this effect.
Must have been a Cars and Coffee near the ramp.
Those “muscle cars” are hardly driver’s cars. I had a ‘72 Nova (not exactly in the same class as a GTO, but anyway...) and it had all the same issues. Slushbox with three gears = can’t drive about 60 without pushing the RPMs past 4000. I liked it because of how it looked and how it sounded, and it would have been…
My dad’s 68 GTO. Despite being completely restored, it drove worse than an old dump truck. It redlined at highway speeds. The steering wheel only offered suggestions for where you’d like to go. Headlights may as well not been installed. Sure made my decision to sell it that much easier. If the emotional baggage that…
