They are trying to figure out if a crime was committed? Good to know I can plow into a crowd with impunity if the need arises. I always thought hitting people with a car was a no-no.

I think at least part of it is that it’s just more interesting. Evil tends to be boring in its horror.

The difficulty I have with playing “evil”, is that it tends to be boring. There’s no sense of conflict or moral questioning. You just do whatever is bad (at least in most cases). I think most of this is a problem with design/history of video games. Villains are typically one-dimensional and not interesting.

Yeah, real head scratcher as to why they wouldn't be eager to get this written. I love that this was presented as though it's some unfathomable thing.

As a guy I definitely enjoy a good sports match. So much sportsing.

I was initially a little skeptical but they really left no room to doubt. At least it was “just a joke” though. I mean now it doesn’t look terrible and stupid. Definitely just a funny, funny joke.

A good variety of podcasts. I usually have a good mix of serious and comedy for podcasts and then a wide variety of music.

The problem is that the “first time” it’s easier to sweep under the rug rather than face the fallout. The second time you’re already complicit and need to keep the con going to save face.

That’s the point that these people are missing. It’s all in the target of the joke. That bit isn’t funny becauase “haha, rape or murder” it’s funny because it’s terrifying/absurd/etc. to hold that belief. I find Ricky Gervais to be along the same lines. Listen that 9 year-old isn’t a good person ok? I have it on good authority that they stole a candy from another kid and pushed a different one.  Good on these officers for having the courage and presence of mind to blindly fire at a car load of children in a neighbourhood full of people.

I feel like this is the correct response for all social media.

Haven’t played RDR2 yet but I don’t think it’s all that surprising. I don’t think having a true to history AAA title like this would work. I mean if you could murder a black man and no one gave a shit (or worse yet, help out) I can’t see how that would go over well.
