That’s a good call. That entire storyline was terrible. The gambling resort was the worst Star Wars moment since the prequels. The love triangle is unnecessary as well. It was all filler.

I would defend Esmail, by saying that I think he’s definitely aware the story is stuck in a loop of failure and disappointment. So it’s kindof like Walking Dead’s endless cycle of misery, but at least in the case of Mr. Robot I still *hope* that it’s building to something.
