Andre Braugher could read a tube of Preparation H and it would be compelling television.

So brutal. I am going to miss the hell out of that crazy, crazy lady.
I agree with you, and that's kind of my point. With Glaber alive she is doomed unless she can convince him that Ashur has somehow betrayed him. I think Glaber would care very much if Lucretia just up and murdered Ashur.
Yummy toasted Varinius. I loved the slow-mo shot of his half-off face blubbering as he hit the ground. Do you guys think that Lucretia knew Ilythia's plan to get back into Glaber's good graces, or did she think Seppia would actually pull off the murder? I'm thinking the former, but with Glaber alive, Lucretia is…
"I could be reading waaaaay too much into this, but was there a glimmer of regret when Ashur told Lucretia about his interrogation techniques? And what are the odds he made that bracelet so easy to reveal in order to work his way out from Glaber’s thumb?"
It has been difficult to accept him, but he did a wonderful job today for sure.
I have never wanted Ashur more dead than I do now.
I concur with the others; it's really important, in order to "get" Lucretia, that you see the first two seasons. The thing about Lucretia this season is that she conveys everything you need to know with a look or a gesture, but to get to that point you have to know her.
I want to like McIntyre, but I'm having a difficult time doing so. He'll never be Whitfield, and it is definitely going to take some time and energy for me to accept him in this role. The rest of the show was good fun, as always.
My reaction surprised me: I cried. I didn't think I cared, but there I was, blubbering like Glenn Beck. They did a good job with this one.
I just spent hours delving into that story. That was amazing. HP fanpersons are scary as hell. Thanks, My My My, for a lovely day-waster.
Agreed. He's awesome.
