I use them with my under cabinet led lighting. I set the timer to turn off 1 hour after sunrise and to turn on 1 hour before sunset. Works well, would like to use with xmas lights as well in the future.

Right, and thats why I was curious because the commercials for this type of product always seems to show turning on/off your lights. I was genuinely curious what people really use them for.

What do you turn on/off with these? I dont own a lamp in my entire house. I wouldn’t use it on TV, which I have plugged into a UPS anyway.

Nintendo sucks at online and they are going to charge for it? RIP Switch. Another Wii U incoming.

A pair of Joy-Con controllers will be $80, the Pro Controller is $70, half a Joy-Con (you can buy the L or R sides individually) will be $50 and a spare dock (if you want to use it on a second TV) will be $90. A new charging handle thing for your Joy-Cons will be $30.

1) Charging for online play (esp on this thing) is stupid. I can play online all I want on my PC and never pay for it. I still hate games that have paid DLC & microtransaction but I can understand that. Hate it but understand it. But charging just to play a stock standard game you already bought? NOPE!

2) $300? Guess

Nintendo Canada confirmed the $399.99 price tag in Canada. It is not going over very well to say the least. That doesn’t include the $80 games, an $80 USD pro controller, my big hands are not going to be comfortable on those tiny joy cons, (probably $100 in Canada) + tax. Even if all you are getting is the system

“Don’t preorder games cause they might suck, but do preorder this $300 piece of hardware so you can have it two weeks before other people when the last nintendo console was pretty shitty which we just explained in another article”

These accessories are insanely priced! $70 for the procontroller? $80 for a set of Joycons? This is not going to go over well, this is not the pricing a company that just had a failed home console should be setting.

Definitely only going to buy this once people figure out how to soft mod it so I can download games for free that I’ll get bored of after 30 minutes like the Wii.

That red-blue color combo is rather hideous. With the grey in the middle it’s like some Frankenstein creation.

If online is $60 a year but comes with 3 games/month (which is the standard set by both the PS4 and XO, right?) then I’m sold. Unless the games are trash, which considering Nintendo’s pedigree is hopefully not the case.

And...Nintendo craps out another steaming shit.

Oh don’t worry. It’ll be more like $3,000 for a good half year - IF we’re lucky - because fucking Nintendo keeps fucking artificially limiting the fucking supply.

That’s a hard price to swallow for me. That’s $400 Canadian, which is crazy.

That’s only $650 on eBay after scalpers get the ridiculously low stock Nintendo is sure to deliver.

They started an uphill battle against two systems that frequently see cheaper price drops.

If you’re gonna charge for online play, you should make purchases account-locked rather than system-locked.

Have you ever used Nintendos Online Services its horrible

March 3rd you say? So, that mean I *may* be able to buy one by November?
