This is a buddy of mine from high school. His salvage/wrecked/loss vehicle sales place was the one featured a few weeks back with the Focus ST.

I’ll take the one that goes to orbit please, thanks!

The whole US government is just awful about acronyms.

Your writing ability is excellent, but your knowledge of business and law are lacking.

Raccoons are not marsupials! Neither rodents. They’re carnivora

Clone Wars was about the Clone Troopers, different from the Stormtroopers, yet very similar. Clones were genetically modified, were brainwashed & aged twice as fast so they actually were literal child soldiers (a 10 year old Clone Trooper would have the body of a 20 year old and would be deemed fit for active duty).

Only if the inhibitor chips in their brains are broken or, in the case of Rex, removed.

Retcon, I remember when the only major retcon was when ILM screwed up and made a Star Destroyer without hangars they simply said “hey that’s a Tector Class now.”

“WEAPON-HOLE”? Don’t be getting all technical on me ffs!

For extra points in General Dodonna’s briefing you see the never shown Death Star main engine that the equatorial trench runs into.

Oh man. This broke every geek reflex and triggered every confirmation bias in my brain.

Of course I thought it was the equatorial trench. But just now, upon learning this, my first reaction was, “Well obviously - the trench doesn’t intersect the exhaust port.”

So if he misspells it — he’s an idiot for not being able to type, but if he corrects it he’s an idiot for violating the law.. this going to get real old for the next 4 years. I will certainly get more done if I avoid the internet snowflake storms. Might be my cue to move on from the internet faux-rage crowd.

What nonsense. “The problem is that he very likely isn’t allowed to do that anymore” is absolutely false. This is a private account. He’s still a person, and a citizen. He has the same right to delete his own tweet as anyone else. Even in the unlikely event that the Court found that any public records statute covers

Remember

I really can’t accept that this was dropped for any other reason than that it doesn’t really fit in the scene and would have added nothing to the story. It is obviously a throw back to the original cantina scene and TFA didn’t need yet another rehash of A New Hope.

The entire cast of Rogue One died by the end of the movie, but heroic deaths in battle are a lot easier to stomach than “murdering.” Especially with the rumors that the original ending was Darth Vader doing just that.

There’s a vast tonal difference in the disparity of the rebels and Chewie fucking ripping off a dudes arm.

It wasn’t the amount of death or pain, it’s the actual dismemberment and arc of blood, etc. that Disney or another film studio would care about. The “bloodless” deaths in Rogue One are, for whatever reason, treated differently.
