Without a verified back story, photos aren’t proof of much these days.
Does Clinton still have that reset button?
If he still can’t win after embarrassing Clinton in these debates, it is time to admit that the system is broken by design. Luck won’t change anything.
I’m missing the days when we had full sized interceptors at sea.
Problem is Hillary. Trump has been drawing out the numbers because the right and center really dislike Clinton and want a popular candidate. Republicans are at record high turnouts so far.
That’s the real kicker. Trumps history (and his real positions) are Hillarie’s platform. He’s trying to win by out tea-partying the tea partiers, and it was working until the media fell victim to its own panic attack
Problem is that China is a nuclear armed state. War would end before anyones won.
Do you want my honest opinion?
It’s undecided.
Voters would pick Trump. Voters are petty when it comes to things like war. They’ll want someone who looks the part of a strongman and problem solver.
Seems like a lot of great airframes have been leaving before their time.
The A-1 Skyraider was legendary in its day. The problem was it couldn’t carry modernized weapons or heavier payloads. That and the failures when trying to use fighters for CAS were the inspiration for the A-10.
I find it interesting that the construction of a new generation A-10 is seen as impossible, yet they can make a carbon copy of the B-2 with new intervals.
Why don’t they just create a special entity to deal with legacy aircraft?
I say we compromise and keep the beltline and greenhouse exactly the same as they were...
Silly question but, what would be the difficulty of making new generation A-10's? There’s nothing terribly classified or difficult to reproduce in the airframe (save for the targeting equipment maybe). Boeing should be more than capable of cloning it since they do full rebuilds.
I think they’ll last for a while longer. These are bases more than they are weapon systems. The jets they support aren’t as vulnerable, so it matters little if the ship continues to be as much of a target as it always was.
Its confirmation bias to assume everyone wants a liberal interpretation of law (because that’s somehow less extreme than simply following the law as it was written?). That may be what you want but not what was agreed to.
I’d argue that it is. There’s crazy on the left as well as the right and to allow one extreme, while moderating the other, means you end up off of the nation’s moral center.
