This is why I love that show.

I dunno... It's a roadable plane.

It's almost four hundred bucks to go from the Virgin Islands to the US.

I would agree that its a dangerous amount of control that's not only being turned over to the machines that drive the cars, but the machines that tell you where they can go.
They'd not only control our freedom of movement but the flow of business in general.

Take all the old games you aren't selling.

Like catching the ball in a baseball game.

I think the problem is you sometimes need vehicles you can base together, move together, from launch to landing, which can meet each others needs. Like the Venom/Viper combo.

They tested one with a floor mounted gat, and one with missiles on the outside of the cockpit.
You'd think an armed osprey would be an obvious next step. But so far as I know they only come with a gate mounted gun right now.

It doesn't hurt that much. Nut up, ya panzy!

The V-280 valor is a tilt rotor. It is a vehicle the army can operate. They wouldn't be looking at it if they didn't intend as much. The air force doesn't offer a vtol attack aircraft to replace helicopters. So there's no duplication for army helicopter gunships.

Except the army does run fixed wing. It's just that it turned the job of air superiority, bombing, close air support and such over to the air force.

Her boyfriend?

I understand the army has the option to buy tilt rotors, but no idea where they sit on the rotorcraft/fixedwing line. The agreement doesn't bar them from all fixed wing aircraft tho. They just can't duplicate an airforce role.

My question with the S-97 is if it will have the range, capacity and speed to match a tilt rotor for similar roles. Its obviously a better helicopter, but what the Army needs is a rotorcraft that can compete with fixed wing.

I'm trying real hard to come up with a joke about frozen sea men...

That was always the plan.

I think the issue is that the F-35 has been advertised as a solition to all military and political problems, but it will never live up to that claim. One weapon system can only do so much.

I used to play FFXI. I have seen incompetence and time wasting in a scale you would not believe!

Yes I do.

That's not how it works out tho.
