Jesus H. Christ, thank you for saying this. This thread is horrifying to me.

Combination of both. High-dose antibiotics are known to cause yeast infections. Immunosuppressive drugs mean your body won't fight them.

I was hoping someone would chime in with this.

I'm also guessing it's because transplant patients take a lot of antibiotics, and those are killer for causing yeast infections.

This is the issue. Too many people want an antibiotic for anything that ails them.

Yea the one i was thinking of is in williamsburg. But no after seeing the website pictures the look just as nice as my apartment and i pay significantly more than 2500

The real lesson here is that science is a complicated, lengthy, and tedious process that doesn’t lend itself to click bait hype.

I have several friends who have seizures that don’t even “look” like seizures. They just appear to zone out really badly for a few seconds to several minutes. It’s not as theatrical as a grand mal, but it’s upsetting all the same, and very disruptive, and yes, it can happen at any time, anywhere. Even if someone isn’t

It was totally funny! I would have missed it if you hadn’t pointed it out!

Thank you for sharing! I’m typically “out of it” for the rest of the day if it happens, but I haven’t had someone call EMS in years, since it’s been due to the usual triggers (fatigue, alcohol use the night before, etc.). It’s a sucky condition to live with, but I’m just lucky that I can (somewhat) control it with

Yes the timing is the most important. Ironically a video would be although embarrassing the best evidence you could provide a doctor

Thanks ! The only people I know that have had seizure are diabetics and people suffering from cancer, so that’s what I meant by she is ok.

In my first aid training we learned that unless you’re super sure you can safely catch them, you should always let people fall. If you try to stop them you could end up hurting them worse or hurting yourself. The instructor said stick your hand under their head if you can but don’t try to all together stop them. Who

This was my worst nightmare after I had my kids. :( I still worry about it even though I'm ten years out from my last seizure. I could just be driving...gah. But I suppose anybody could have a weird medical emergency. Oh good. More things to worry about.

Actually being epileptic myself, they can happen that easily.

great instincts.

For extra fun, it’s possible to have strep throat without showing the symptoms of strep throat, which means that from your perspective, you skip the strep throat and go straight to scarlet fever.

Thank you for providing this info ... which maybe they could have included in the actual post................................................................. /pointed ellipses

I’m stealing “better safe than scarlet fever”.

I didn’t love this ad spot, but it’s been said before and still bears repeating: vote for your preferred candidate in the primary, but vote blue regardless in November. I’m so excited to have a chance to vote for Bernie on Tuesday, but I’ll also happily vote for Hillary in November if it means I get to vote against
