Yup, my GI doc (a woman) said it is very common for women in mid-thirties to mid-forties to suddenly develop severe sensitivities to certain foods an generally have digestive troubles and often severe stomach pains (I went to the ER twice my stomach hurt so much), which they put under the catch-all diagnosis of IBS.

I am glad you are.

Honestly, I think it is a lesson many, many women learn the hard way. I don’t think you’ve really been alive until you’ve had your heart broken at least once (if not a few times). Look at all the songs about heartbreak, it is so common, longing for someone who is gone from you life.

I developed IBS when I was 35! So no, it is very common to suddenly present itself in your 20-30-40s. I never had a food allergy or any digestive issue before, and suddenly I was having all sort of issues and just so much stomach pain. I went to a GP, who sent me to a specialist.

“Now one night stands are something I am not used to or comfortable with at all, so right before we were about to do it I warned him that if it was going to be awkward or if he was going to treat me differently after having sex with him, then I would not sleep with him and that we should just be friends. I would recommend goign to a GI specialist. You may have IBS, which is yes often triggered by stress, but can be very painful and serious problem. IBS has other methods of treatment that are medical as well as holistic, such as dietary changes and prescription medications to help with nausea and pain on the bad days.

I temped for a few years before landing a permanent salaried and benefited position. Let me tell you, it can be soul-sucking, boring work and oftentimes the temp is either ignored completely or treated with disdain Thank your lucky stars they are ignoring you.

Holy shit you are young. When you hit 38 and are still single and living alone like me, then you can start to worry. I never really met anyone decent at all until I hit my thirties. I’ve had one close call (engagement ring close) but I broke it off.

I hate my birthday: it is super close to christmas, and everybody forgets it. Plus, it’s the anniversary of the first date with my now ex whom I thought I was going to marry, so.....just, birthdays suck so hard. I usually avoid everyone, have a good cry and take myself out to the movies.

Best friend met and married a guy she met on OKC. He is probably the sweetest guy I’ve ever me, and they make a very cute couple.

“It’s been 9 days, and I’m so scared that he’ll never contact me again, and I’ll never have the closure I need.”

how it’s made is my go-to relaxing video series as well. Factory machines are mesmerizing. Also, now I want pancakes.

I fucking hate when people rail against “BIG PHARMA.” You know who made the drug that saved my mom’s life when she was diagnosed with cancer? Merck. a Big Pharma company. Who developed AZT, the drug that gave new hope to millions diagnosed with HIV/AIDS? GlaxoSmithKline, a Big Pharma company.

Sometimes I think the bloggers on Sploid don’t actually watch the entire videos before posting. Multiple times they’ve directly contradicted something in the video they are linking to.

NEVER buy from Revolve. They seem to have he same exact dress as Nordstroms for $200 less? It’s because although it has the same brand label, it is made form a much cheaper fabric. That lovely silk dress from For Love and Lemons you’ve been coveting but don’t have $350 for? Revolve has the same one for $200, but in

Honestly looks like the same stuff you can find from Free People, ASOS, Nordstrom Rack, Hautelook, NastyGal, ForLoveAndLemons.....and at a similar price-point. Way too much polyester dresses for me. Just more of the same.

She’s way weirder than the chick from this article.

“It’s ridiculous. I watch that shit religiously.”

I LOVE horror films. But not shite ones.

This article did nothing to address some unfortunate facts:
