That’s fine. A missed rebound or tipped pas happens a lot so there’s a chance you get the ball by accident. It takes positioning it can happen. 

Competent means “having the necessary ability, knowledge, or skill to do something successfully.” His lies are easily disproven, meaning they aren’t successful or competent lies. Yes, he can lie easily but the OP said he was a competent liar. He’s not.

Lying is the only thing this man can do competently.

My wife was just in Nashville and brought back a cookbook on it that talked about Prince’s and the others. She said she ordered “hot” and was politely told to go with “mild.”She added that it was the right decision.

Nah, keep it. One of the few good things they’ve done. Cities with a team in only one league get to see at least some of the stars of the other league once in a while. Even a shitty NL team will move some tickets when the Yankees, etc. come to town.
