How would they fare on Gor, though? And will anyone be able to yell CABOT over and over effectively?

I’d joke that someone should go change the letters around regularly to make silly jokes or something, except I’m guessing it wouldn’t take long before the guy ended up shooting someone over it.

I still find it weird how last year had a comic miniseries, Steven Universe: Harmony, that involved a Gem weapon that was shaped like a red gem heart, and I believe was ultimately defeated via music and/or singing, and then about a year later we get a movie musical involving a rogue Gem with a heart motif.

RELEASE THE HANDFORD CUT!!!

Some good moments, but the overall package is still getting weirdly twitchy, perhaps the more they now rapidly deviate from the comic (reminding myself of the general order of the original story on Wikipedia points out that it’s safe to say they rapidly deviated almost from the first episode). Also really strange to

If the world were just, everything would end in a fashion referencing The Critic.

It’s always rather amusing to find out a thing was getting a movie, but only after it was cancelled. Although it appears the Lumberjanes movie has been in the works in one way or another since 2015, so I don’t know what the odds were on that finally coming together. Also kind of weird Disney didn’t bother keeping it

It’s still strange to me that being in a Paddington movie has now become a potential high point for anyone’s career. I kept expecting the original to turn out middling at best, and then it far exceeds that. Figured the sequel would obviously be the breaking point, but no. At this rate, being in Paddington 10 is going

And then we could eventually get a Lord of the Rings-style extended edition that features hours and hours of additional scenes involving trying to teach Gau as many of his Rages as possible while wandering around the Veldt, tracking down all of the optional dragon bosses near the end of the story, and even more time

Argh! I just now watched this episode, and figured we still had a few episodes left. I NEED MORE. I’m sure the next one will probably do right by me, but still.

I wonder if he has a secret world.

I’d love a version of the movie where instead of de-aging him, they just replace him with the CG Peter Cushing from Rogue One.

I could be wrong, but from how I feel currently it seems as if this season premiere both worked, but also has left me feeling even more disconnected from the series. I seem to have somehow managed to recall a decent chunk of the show’s overall progress, yet for whatever reason small bits of last season elude me.

Good, I hope he can get back to acting. K-PAX II: A-prot-calypse Now isn’t going to make itself.

Thanks! I was on the fence about posting that myself, and now I don’t have to!

I agree! Richard Moll, AND a ghost shark. I also now randomly recall the amusement gained from Mississippi River Sharks (there were sharks, and they were in a river/swamp at the very least) where the protagonists managed to snag one and drag it into a wood chipper or something similar, except one guy stupidly stood

Even better than Avalanche Sharks, that involved ghost-y sharks appearing on a mountain because someone moved some Native American totems and I can’t recall why this had anything to do with sharks?

And because it has nowhere else to go, methinks I’ll say that after viewing the season finale of NOS4A2, that was a... strange show. I guess it was fine? I liked it, anyway. Perhaps helped by having not read the book. Yet. Sort of the opposite of watching Preacher and either spotting the differences or having a

I now feel like a bonus of these Disney remakes is the recommended stories at the bottom slowly filling up with new and exciting ways to question the necessity/quality of each additional remake. I look forward to the day when it’s just a variation on “The remake of Disney’s Brother Bear is a piece of shit, seriously

If we were truly blessed, AV Club would hire Lovitz to read these kinds of reviews out loud in-character for our listening pleasure.
