The Razzies just feel like a relic of another time that has no meaning in today’s world. The internet has levels of cattiness and “we love to hate” energy that they can’t keep up with, while also making it much more obvious how toxic those attitudes can be for real people. Obviously nominating a kid for a bad acting

(scrolls past the thread where everyone says the same stuff about that Last Jedi they’ve been saying for years)

I was hoping Tammy Duckworth would have acknowledged Pearl Jam’s earlier brave at driving reform and said, “On a herrrdrrrr on a guhrrrdrrrr lettrrrrrrr!”

It’s really a problem of distinguishing latent racism from mere chance. There are a lot of black actors working today giving stellar performances, and it’s unreasonable to expect that in any given year, none are nominated. It’s possible that could happen by chance, but like a random number generator giving the same

I feel like Janelle Monae not getting a nomination for Glass Onion is a pretty big snub. She was terrific in what was a pretty complex performance, given... well, y’know. I’ll avoid spoilers for those who haven’t seen it.

Every single scene with Bane on that show is the funniest damn thing

When your in the top ten for weeks but not pulling in Stranger Things viewership and thus need to die, well something is dreadfully wrong.

I don’t know what Tim Allen’s politics are, but I’m sure a coked-up comic 90s comic would never pull such an untoward stunt!

I agree in general terms, but I think what Cameron brings to those films that Disney won’t is an almost obsessive attention to detail and a commitment to making them good at all costs, which is why they take decades to make. Even if you don’t like them, it’s hard to deny that the effort that went into them is all up

How  do you type with your tongue so firmly up Phil Spencer’s rectum, you Xbot bitch?

That’s not true. Kotaku user AnimaniacSpirits believes every word of it!

Yep, Halo Infinite is 100% finished and does not need... oh, wait, hang on, my producer is telling me the game still needs tons of work.  So why the fuck are they laying off developers?  Got any other stupid comments, bootlicker?

Seems like the kind of BS story that people tell after all the producers die because special effects don’t work like that, especially back then. Everything has to be planned, choreographed, blocked, lit, and done in a specific way that had been agreed to, months or years previous, so Harryhausen could match it with

Asking for a 10% raise is actually very conservative... France doesn’t have automatic indexation of salary like we do in Belgium, so they’re not likely to get anything unless the ask/fight for it. Here we got 11.15% automatic and mandatory revaluation (though this is dependent on the parity comission you work in,

Cause of the Activision merger most likely. Also, there may be laws making acquiring Ubisoft as a whole difficult (They are a French based company whose largest workforce comes from Canada, France, etc., rather than a US based company).

Like, the game of the year by almost every metric last year was Elden ring, and it has zero of this BS. I'm so tired of having live service and multiplayer shoved down my throat. I play games to get away from real people, thanks.

This has happened literally every time a new live service game has come out what the fuck are you talking about

I mean - Sony knew a large number of their customer’s couldn’t GET the product short of paying exorbitant markup.  Had they done this sooner, the reaction would not have been as kind.

Just don’t buy them is how every other bad monetization practice happened and became the normal because publishers and developers court whale level spenders (i.e. small percentages of the player population anyway)

The issue is you are paying $70+ for a new game and they’re locking some of the content behind another pay wall. personally I don’t care so long as it’s only cosmetic but I can see why a lot of people get frustrated with it as it feels like they’re being nickel and dimed after already paying a hefty premium for the
