And we’ve seen such a wealth of traditional animation from major studios in the past 20 years, right?
And we’ve seen such a wealth of traditional animation from major studios in the past 20 years, right?
FUCKING RIGHT?!?!
People will literally cheerlead for megacorp lawyers to come along and annihilate the private individuals using this tech and not see that as the Our Hats Have Skulls On Them moment it is
The thing about the Luddites that most people forget is that they were cast aside and largely screwed over by the Industrial Revolution. Sure, we make fun of them today but they had some real grievances that makes them much more sympathetic when you start digging into the history.
“Amplifying human creativity”...is it me or with corporations, their word is often the opposite when it comes to the true intent? With corporations embracing AI art, they are pushing to void any creative labor, and thus, hurt actual artists just making this a paying hobby. Remember, the bigger the industry, the more…
neither having autism or CP should automatically discredit her. People with disabilities have some of the highest rates of sexual violence because their claims are often ignored or minimized.
I’m not an MBA, but this sounds suspiciously like raiding your couch for spare change because things are that bad.
The Disney/Fox merger shouldn’t have happened either. Just because our antitrust laws have been ignored for so long doesn’t mean we should just do away with them. I’m happy to see this merger be stopped, and am really hoping to see something similar with the Kroger/Albertson’s merger. The consolidation of corporations…
Her performance was truly amazing. Her singing “Hot Potato” in front of George Michael never fails to make me laugh.
Except yes it fucking is because we did have housing abundance.

If someone approaches you and says “hey, I’d like to pay you to make a game for me” and you said “okay, but I want to be able to sell that game to other companies too,” that would be weird, right?
Wither the client is filthy rich or not doesn’t change how much the product is worth
I’m just gonna throw this out there since it seems people aren’t thinking about this at all from the comments we have below. The $3000 offer does NOT factor in agent fees or taxes. That is NOT the amount of money the artist would take home, the amount would be closer to 2/3s of that.
This is a contract worker who has to pay their own taxes and provide their own benefits. The $3,000 is not take home.
THIS. I swear to god no one ever takes taxes into account when it comes to freelancers, ever. That $3000 isn’t really $3000, it’s more like $2000 because you need to set 1/3 aside for taxes.
Artist who makes their living with their own art
