TRUKK NOT ENBEE!!!

I think in this case it’s 20% money and 80% dumb executives being enamored with the latest tech trend. This is an underpants-gnome level business strategy best explained by some unscrupulous consultant (or bored engineering manager…) saying “woo-woo, it’s AI.”

His mindless, anti-woke fluffers can also go eat a dick.

Are people just purposefully being pro-Chappelle just to troll, because the episode was fine. Not terrible, but not very good (like most of this season). It’s certainly not a B+.

IMO, if someone is going to write off a production like this for tax purposes, they should be required to put everything that was done for it into the public domain.

I watched Comey Rule a couple of weeks ago, which Brendan Gleeson as Trump, the only dramatic portrayal of Trump I’ve heard of that wasn’t going for goofy caricature.

Kevin Pollak and Rick Overton have also returned for the series as Willow’s Brownie friends.

Eh. This tip-toes towards victim-blaming a little. It doesn’t matter how it came across. When people admittedly understand this might be complicated for her, but choose to tell her how she should feel anyway, that’s the actual issue. When people admittedly understand that she slipped up, but choose to tear her apart

It’s madness how folks really seem to think that those movies aren’t all ridiculously similar. Every single one is about someone with magical powers learning to deal with those magical powers

Reducing Nya to ‘the crazy girl who drowned’ seems mean spirited, like it was her fault she drowned saving her son. It was incredibly sad, regardless of the quality of the vehicle that made her famous.  Maybe that wasn’t what you were going for.

Face to face interaction is supposed to place some onus on management to think about the human impact of their business decisions. Whether or not that's ever been the case is an interesting question, but firing people over email fits with the current understanding of work as mutually hateful exploitation.

more launcher equal more ressources used to run them. more chance of having conflict, more chances of having a bug preventing you to run your game etc etc

It’s not just an extra click, though. It’s extra loading time pulling up the launcher instead of just starting to load the game. It’s extra ads that you can’t opt out of. In some cases, like Ubisoft’s proprietary launcher, it’s pretty much bloated malware.

Do you really not know how the internet works after all these years?

The only things J.B. Smoove couldn’t save are the Titanic (because they didn’t allow black performers on board - I was there and know it for a fact!) and this Hindenturd of a show! Even the missus made me turn this one off and suggested we go out for a rental. We got in a car and I hit the neighbors mailbox, which

Melissa Fumero is a sitcom goddess. Not sure I can watch this just for her though

The second picture is the biggest lie this show tells because I had a lot of friends that worked at Blockbuster and there was never four employees in a store at the same time.  They were the kind of operation that ran really lean.  You were lucky if the store had two employees in it at any one time

Now playing

Surprised that there was no link to that fantastic Defunct land video:

It’s funny to see the nostalgia for Blockbuster—even I’m guilty of it!—when at the time Blockbuster was huge THEY were the big bad guy for running the little Mom and Pop video stores out of business.
