No he didn’t. If he gave a shit at all he would have nominated someone as FAA Director 2 years ago.

Why is our idiot for president involved at all in this matter?
When addressing regulatory issues, it absolutely does. They may have had the proposed fix ready at the time of the shutdown, then it takes months of coordination and validation in cooperation of the FAA to go from proposed fix to being permitted to actually modify in-service aircraft.
I get that every single issue that happens during Trump’s presidency is supposed to be attributed to him...but the FAA approved the delay related to the shutdown because ‘Boeing and other experts ‘saw no immediate threat.’
Additionally, Boeing and the FAA were continually discussing the issue because there were…
Preface: I am going along with your line of thinking that these two crashes are caused by the same issue, which is something we don’t know yet even though Gizmodo’s expert crash investigators are trying to link the two in the public’s mind because it gets clicks.
...the Wall Street Journal reported yesterday, “the federal government’s recent shutdown also halted work on the fix for five weeks.”
“It is great to use both the ‘Trusted Traveler’ programs and the Mobile Passport app so you can choose the shortest line and breeze through Customs on your preferred program. Your results may vary depending on the airport and the time of day.”)
Literally just status. It’s sad.
One thing I’m really interested in (assuming we all last that long) is what do these “influencers” look like in 5 or 10 years?
One thing I’m really interested in (assuming we all last that long) is what do these “influencers” look like in 5 or 10 years? I already can’t believe that people give a shit what type of makeup Aunt Becky’s teenage daughter wears, but one she ages out of the slightly older sister demo, who is going to listen to her?…
Thank you for sharing this.
Former bartender and lifelong depressed person here: 1) you have no obligations here 2) If you think you can handle it, if you can have a quiet conversation with nobody overhearing, you should bring it up with him upon arrival (before he’s drunk) and as directly as possible.
Just letting someone know you’re concerned about them really can help. A while back I had some health problems before I went to another State for a few months. When I got back my regular Friday bartender was angry with me for not letting her know what I was doing. Bartenders and servers really do care about their…
Exactly what Uber is doing. “distrupting the taxi business” by basically being a taxi business, only making the drivers use their own cars, pay for their own insurance, earn less money, and with the ultimate plan of eliminating them anyway because they know their business model doesn’t support them.
So in this scenario, you have to
The notion of making a car a sight-unseen purchase is complete absurd! The stock should have dropped into the basement from that announcement alone.
To your first point, I’ve actually heard rumblings that customer cars have been used for test drives while in for service.
They did say you would have a “7 day test drive period” where once you received the car you could return it for a full refund before the end of a 7 day period. I mean, not really the same, but I guess kind of the same?
Neither.
It very much sums up the approach to hardware in the region.
