She has detailed plans on how to pay for all of them.  I don’t think it’s fair to expect her to have a plan to get McConnell to vote on them because that will depend on the layout of the Senate after the election.  However, it does show why we need more candidates taking on the Senate and fewer running for President.

She didn’t have any weapon, so was the other woman really in that much danger? I don’t know the details, but it *seems* like it would warrant assault.

This is what worries me.  There’s been such an escalation in violence during his presidency: against Jewish Americans, Muslim Americans, refugees, Latinx Americans, African Americans, Democratic politicians, and the press.  I’m afraid of 4 more years of Trump, but I also worry about how bad the aftermath of him losing

It shocked me to read that Pelosi is concerned about Trump undermining the results of the presidential election if he loses. I always told myself that was an extreme fear.  I’m concerned about how far the Senate, Trump and the people around him will go to keep him in power now that the Supreme Court has a

I agree that his centrist policies are similar to the DNC trying to stop the rise of new Democrats. He won’t be effective on climate change, healthcare, the student loan crisis, or even economic inequality because in the end, he’s pretty okay with trying to be pre-Trump and a lot of voters want more than that.

This:

I agree that polls no longer matter. There are too many variables now, especially turnout of young voters, gerrymandering and voter suppression. Moving beyond the primaries, it’s all about the electoral college. I think it’s best to ignore the polls and not let them influence you or cause you to panic.

It’s Trump all over again. Did he deserve media coverage? No. Did he have any coherent plans or experience? No. The media created his phenomenon like a snake eating its own tale: we decide he’s newsworthy, so we give him coverage, he’s news now, so we give him more coverage. They could do the same thing for

Kevin Conroy is my favorite Batman with Michael Keaton next.

I think a lot will depend on the script and director. Ben Affleck did his best with what he had, which wasn’t great.  I’m not very excited about another Batman movie in general, but I hope it’s good.

Look at Zachary Levi.

I like the animated series Batman, too.

Coffins and open coffin funerals creep me out, probably because I went to so many open casket funerals when I was very young. My husband knows I want to be cremated. I’m all for my organs being used beforehand.  I don’t think I want to be mulch, though.

With Democrats like these, who needs Republicans?  I say primary the “Democrats” like Joe Manchin.  If you don’t uphold signature values of the Democratic Party, you’re out because you’re not representing your voters.

I disagree. My husband changed diapers, got up for late night feedings, rocked her. Yet still there are so many things that feel like MY job because I’m Mom. And yes, sometimes it’s easier to do it because I know I’ll do a better job. After you’ve picked your sweaty kid up from daycare in long knit pajama pants in

I agree. The bar is so low that men (or at least my husband) don’t realize how unequal it is. Sometimes I get so tired and I think, “Screw it” but the difference is I feel guilty for doing that while he doesn’t.

I felt that way, too, which is why I eventually walked away from my teaching career to do jobs in education that didn’t suck up so much of my home life.  The transition hasn’t been easy, but I’m happier.

I relate so much to this. My daughter is four and is now picking out her own clothes, but my husband would dress her in horrendous and inappropriate clothes. Her teachers would say, “We can tell when daddies dress the kids.” I do the entire bedtime routine (unless I argue) most nights and sometimes I do it because

Are you sure this money isn’t coming from the wealth tax she wants? I don’t know that it will come out of taxpayers’ pockets unless they’re in the very wealthiest category.
