I’m with him on this. It’s going to be contentious, so I think it’s healthy to go into it saying, “Screw it. I love what we did and nothing’s going to change that.”  I also agree that getting the hell off the Internet would be healthy for him, too, until the shit storm dies down.

Michelle Obama doesn’t want to be a politician. She is not interested in votes. She just got her “private” life (I say that because their lives will never truly be “private” again) back again and doesn’t want to step out into the public life again.

I don’t think the Obamas are privileged. They worked hard to stay together. They lived apart for awhile a few times, then both worked very busy schedules.  They went through couples therapy.  She sacrificed her own career for his.  They sacrificed a lot together.  To me, that’s the opposite of privilege.

Potato litter?

Idahope you guys would know these “free” potatoes are too good tuber true.

What?  You can’t be from the south, that’s for damn sure.

You can buy the frozen ready to steam mashed potatoes and that really cuts down on the effort involved.  I still wouldn’t be leaving my potatoes like little gifts around the neighborhood.  That’s what brownies are for, although with brownies they could have a little extra something thrown in.

I’m glad someone else had that thought. The last thing I would consider eating off the street would be a styrofoam bowl of mashed potatoes.

I think Pelosi played it too safe with her push back on Twitter and was firmer when she spoke, but not firm enough. Compared to the education required, not especially, but better than preschool teachers.  When I taught I was lucky my husband had an income.  Some of my co-workers were single moms or dads with multiple kids and worked part-time jobs and got food stamps.

Right now 4 Republicans and 4 Democrats are running.  It’s almost primary time.

I don’t know many people who voted for him, but I live in Louisville.  He’s gotten so bad that even the weather man called him an idiot when he complained that schools were canceled for the -17 degree weather.  

Unfortunately, I live in Louisville which is a dot of blue in a sea of red. It’s sad that everything Kentucky is famous for is bad for you: tobacco, cheapo fried chicken, bourbon, gambling, and McConnell.

He exposed his 9 kids deliberately to chicken pox.  He’s against mandated vaccines and says vaccines are “not for everyone” which shows that he doesn’t understand the science of vaccines.  He’s a lot of words I don’t type on the Internet.
