The working late/butts in the seat mentality is so stupid. If I can get my work done in six hours, why should I stay the extra two hours? I'm not getting paid extra when I stay late to finish something or work on weekends or at night. The quality of work should matter more than physical presence for all employees.

Wellesley (my alma mater) has a beautiful campus. Too bad the photo isn't one of Wellesley!

I'm depressed that I woke up this morning in a world where this even needed to be said. It should go without saying.......it should just go without saying. Meh. Maybe I need to go back to bed and see if I can wake up in a world that's not bizarro.

Preach.

UGH. Yet more 'high' fashion for small-chested women. Not that there is anything wrong with that, it's just EVERY big and small -name designer has the most flat-chested models on their runways, and their clothes only fit properly and look proportional if you're a C cup or smaller.

That Trefoils is in the top three—ahead of Tagalongs, no less—is a goddamn travesty and I am ashamed to work here.

The classism argument is bullshit. Sure, you can be a veggie / vegan in an expensive way, eating nothing but Quinoa and expensive processed fake meats. But you know what is vegan and dirt cheap? Rice and beans. Animal derived products often cost more than vegetable-based ones, as they should. It's why some products

I have an unreasonable desire for her to attend Wellesley but would be totally on board with Barnard.

I must have tried every flavour at some point, but what stands out most in my memory is the gem-series with rhinestone lids… They were really gritty because they were so damn jammed with sparkles. It was like spreading waxy sand on your lips…

Exactly how large is Lifehacker's readership of women who have yet to live with having breasts for any length of time? I'd be interested in a list of the best models of each of these types of bra (especially for larger busts—I loved balconette when I was smaller, but I can't wear them now) but this is basically

Yes. Very much so. The ranking goes I, III, II.

Yeah, the curly hair thing is weird. My hair apparently always has been wavy, but I just thought it was stringy gross straight hair. A hairdresser actually told me one day, "By the way, did you know your hair was curly? It's also really really dry"

Yup. I originally found the whisper videos a couple years ago to make fun of them and be all "what the fuck is wrong with people". Then I realized I was sitting there for ages and feeling so relaxed. As much as I hate to admit it, it actually works for me it seems.

It'd have been great if the man-gay one had been, you know, heartfelt, too.

What I have always wanted, as a triple D and beyond:

What makes me the angriest? That building was the old Science Museum, where I spent many a wondrous school field trip. And then the cultists moved in. siiiiiiiigh.

I unapologetically love Miracle Whip, whatever the fuck it is.

Erm, lots of people have commented on how the focus should be on keeping non-violent people out of prison and giving them the community service option. But I want to point out that non-violent offenders (especially those who commit property crimes or are repeat offenders) cause a lot of damage to society. It's not all
