I kind of wish we had a law about profit sharing. Companies racking in the profits and paying workings nothing should be forced to have to share their winnings with the people who's hardwork actually made it.

I'm glad that there is a company that is dedicating its resources to this market. I know that a lot of independent artists have made some incredibly beautiful African and African American dolls recently but you can't really find them easily in the mainstream market.

What was your thought process here? Good morning world. Lets' see. Here's an idle article on Jezebel about a sort of distinct class at a university in America that's based around a famous celebrity. I think it's about time for me to leave a three sentence comment that:

As a college prof I understand the desire to create a class with a spicy title in order to get folks into seats (and maybe into the major.) For those already mocking this class as useless (because obviously they've already taken a class on the Politics of Beyonce) I think classes like that can be great because you get

Countess von Chesterfield of the Sofa Dynasty will see you now.

A kindred spirit! I am so not a morning person and that means time wise I end up skipping a morning shower and I often just don't feel like it at night. I use the excuse that the winter dries out my skin, which it does, but I'm not sure if my habits would change if it didn't.

I feel like all my comments have been of the same theme lately but WHERE are women finding not only one, but multiple guys to have great regular sex with? Is it safe to assume they're all in their 20's? Because I don't even own A gun, let alone many guns that would necessitate an entire rack. If you know what I mean.

It took me two years to realize that Amy Adams and Isla Fisher are two different people.

So here's what you do: give men the same amount of paternity leave. Then there's no difference between hiring a man or woman, since they both will get 4 or 8 or whatever weeks of paid parental leave.

Yeah but we don't do that. We "farm" the animals just for their fur/hair/feathers then the rest of the animal gets dumped. Meat and clothes don't go hand in hand. The animal care standards for "fur animals" are so lax and terrible. They are often skinned alive. In fact when they skin a rabbit they hang him/her by

Can we please have high speed trains for mid-distance travel up and down large corridors please? I get that a maglev from LA to NYC isn't feasible, but how about a high speed train from NY to Chicago that won't have to deal with shitty runways?

"Well how do you write such good female characters?' And I go, 'Well I write people.'"

Most men in our society are oppressed, through violence, capitalism and consumerism. But it's not "feminists" who are oppressing men in that way, it's other men. A minority of men, mostly the same ones that also oppress women. If people stopped talking about oppression as a "men" vs "women" phenomena and understood

One of my dad's friends was raised Mormon. One day her mom took her to the doctor because her period had stopped. The doctor asked about sex, and she said no, of course not. She was a virgin. The doctor and the mom left the room to talk about some of the possibilities. That is when the nurse asked "do you know what

I'm 5'4" so the guys who are considered "short" (like the ones that are 5'7") are taller than me and I have no problem with that.

...I am a children's librarian, can keep doing this all day!

So here's the thing:

I worked at Victoria's Secret for five years. I worked there during college, and then for a few years after I graduated because I couldn't find a "real job." (Eventually, I loaded all my hopes and dreams into my Kia and moved to the Big City and got a job that relates to my degree.)

With this in
