Yeah, I started to rewatch Ed a few weeks ago until I realized they were censoring a show that originally aired at 8 o'clock on network television.
Compulsory:
I actually recorded The Tonight Show because the guests were Kristen Wiig and Rami Malek. I'll probably watch it, but I won't be happy about it.
Thanks for that, I was wondering when it was coming back, and I hadn't got around to looking it up.
The only thing that I can think of that was in any way remarkable last year is that Pete Rose was allowed to participate in the pomp and circumstance. I doubt that would account for a 29% swing.
What They Were Probably Promoting on Carson (22 Jul 1983):
Your friend and I would get along famously.
Bush always struck me as a decent guy, he was just never meant to be President.
My guess was Populist, but I realized that is not a Greek word.
What They Were Probably Promoting on Carson (13 Jan 1984):
I think this season has produced some of the best episodes of the series, so at least they are going out on a high note.

Jason is soooo laid back (HOW LAID BACK IS HE?). Brought to mind the “Perry Como: Still Alive” sketch from SCTV:
What They Were Probably Promoting on Carson (25 May 1982):
Jason simply couldn’t contain his excitement after he won. I hope his family can bear the shame of such an embarrassing show of public emotion.
I'd be okay if I never saw the crying Jordan meme ever again.
What They Were Probably Promoting on Carson (19 Mar 1987):
I think I speak for most when I say, whatever you want to do with your lips is entirely up to you.
Serinda Swan was good as Zatanna on Smallville, but at that point in the series, it really didn't matter.
