What They Were Probably Promoting on Carson (23 Aug 1985):

Man, Trump really doesn't know how to delegate. I would think he would have lawyers for that kind of thing.

Yeah, but specific "classic" scenes? Maybe Luca Brasi. (I hear he sleeps with the fishes.)

Past or present, what other "classic murder scenes" come to mind? I can't really think of any that wouldn't be a stretch.

Note: This installment of The Tonight Show seems inordinately weighted with stand-up comedy. It’s a strange programming choice and maybe those who are blessed with receiving the Antenna TV channel can tell me what it looked like.

I watched some of part two tonight. I was pretty sure I was O.J.'d out, but I'll admit I was captivated.

I was really disappointed when I learned that Leah Remini had succumbed to Scientology, but boy, has she made up for it.

jinx

"Courtney Cox,
I love you,
You're so hot,
On that show."

Note: May 22, 1992 was Johnny Carson’s final show, thus all of the lead-up episodes were flavored by his impending retirement. Even so, the business of show rolled inexorably on:

I watched it. I agree with it being too loud, but I was semi-entertained. I have no plans to watch a second episode, but I'm not sure I would have even if I was more entertained, if that makes sense. Slightly higher than a 'D' for me, but I'm probably the wrong audience to begin with.

I fixed that quite a while ago. Did you load the page and then go make a sandwich?

Upvote for you doing, uh, "research".

I enjoy the bouncing of balls, but you have my sympathy.

Not to question the motives and cynicism of the ABC executives, but my guess is that it's because Anthony Anderson is hosting. Some might think that makes it pair with Uncle Buck somehow.

I was wondering if Philip Rhys was related to Matthew Rhys, and then I googled and decided that no, no he is not.
