Woo Hoo!? The Catch was renewed at almost exactly the same time that I began to doubt whether I wanted to continue to watch it.

What They Were Probably Promoting on Carson (24 May 1974):

#13 Sunny Leone has had a unique career, moving from porn movies to Bollywood stardom.

Meanwhile, Donald Duck continues to wonder why Mickey is hogging all the shorts. Its been a little drafty.

Damn, I'm really sad I'll never get to see that show I've been meaning to watch.

I had to swap out my DVR and failed to record Jeopardy!, so I'm in the same boat. Seems like I would have seen you, but its a pretty big boat.

Had the date wrong on the Cannon / Dangerfield entry. Fixed.

What They Were Probably Promoting on Carson (23 Jul 1980):

Get the hell out of the way horse, here comes the damn cart again!
(Amadeus is hopefully enjoying himself at the movies and will be here soon.)

They say this cat Underground is a bad mother
(Shut your mouth)
But she's just talkin' 'bout Underground

- Meatloaf, before some last minute editing.

Je ne parle pas français, dammit.

Cool. I thought they did a pretty good job with Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell, so that makes me hopeful.

I agree, and I think the books would be best served in a series format. SyFy has been doing some surprisingly quality work lately, maybe they could give them a whirl.

What They Were Probably Promoting on Carson (14 May 1982):

It's always interesting when Jodie Foster emerges from whatever kind of self-imposed hibernation to which she has subjected herself. I haven't really heard anything about Money Monster, but it looks like it might be entertaining, if a tad bit preachy.

I'm not sure how I feel about all of the noises she makes when the correct answer is revealed. I think over time it may grow annoying.

I would like to think that I'm not alone in knowing Edward James Olmos' name and not Jaime Escalante's. Which sucks for Jaime Escalante.

As Amadeus said he will be delayed tonight, I'm going to go ahead and put the cart before the horse:

"Step aside Dad, for whom Barry has demonstrated his deep love, I'll be the one to call Barry back, because he may or may not have feelings for me…it's still kind of up in the air."
