I appreciated the copious amount of chutzpah that it must have taken for Lauren to announce to the world that she's using her guaranteed $2500 grant for an "educational" trip to Disney World.

I really should have written that differently (I was going to put it someplace else). Fix in progress…

Gotta say I really disagree with Lauren's FJ wager. She is going to have to have some considerable luck to get a wild card.

What They Were Probably Promoting on Carson (28 Feb 1986):

Tony Nominations (CBS This Morning, 8:30 am): Simulcast available at Tonyawards.com. The Awards themselves are set to be broadcast on June 12th on CBS.
The bad news: the scheduled host for this year's Tonys is none other than CBS' own James Corden.

Perhaps it was an oversight on the part of lafergs.

What's especially interesting about Jimmy Fallon is how he has the questionable ability to drag his guests into his sophomoric sludge and make them wallow around in it. Every time I watch a guest I like on his show I always end up regretting it (see Paul Rudd last week).
I will watch Louis C.K.'s appearance because,

The sum total of my Jerzy knowledge begins and ends with the movie version of Being There.

There is a surprising lack of detailed information about Ms. George on-line, but yes, it was chiefly the "People" gig. She also appeared on an episode of "The Muppet Show" before she made her return to the NFL.

What They Were Probably Promoting on Carson (10 Jan 1980):

spoiler spoiler spoiler spoiler: I thought it might be an elaborate ruse on the part of the mysterious mom-type person to lay a trap or exact revenge on Reddington.

Buzzy really reminds me of someone and I kind of narrowed it down, but I'm not sure if its scratching the itch in the back of my brain. Anyway, I came up with John Turturro in Barton Fink (Picture):
