@Nigra: Its pretty similar to your logic. Its a decent analog for what your wrote above. All in all though, not important... Odin and Jaredu covered the real logic I see...

@MifuneT: True that. Plus the movie was pretty visually amazing, almost everyone agrees on that!

@pettiblay: It really doesnt matter what you say or think. Not without a star that is. The only bright side is that I dont have a star either. So what im saying doesnt matter either... oh sad.

@das7002: AMD does this. I have a phenom dual core that you can unlock via hybrid mode using either a gigabyte or Asus motherboard to unlock all 4 cores. Windows even detects it as the quad core processor name once it has been unlocked. I love that AMD did that because it gave me a quad core 3.2 ghz chip for 85 bucks

@DingoJunior: I agree with you for the most part. On the other side, I believe people get bent out of shape because the fact that it is intel... they set the market price for processors due to monopolistic practices. If they are setting the market price, and combining it with this software restriction, it feels like

@Chatboy91: I do have to say that there is something to be said about the competitive nature of the "free market" being forgotten. You put it in a good way. I also see where DingoJunior is coming from, but I would have to agree with you on this one. If I buy a cell phone I expect to be able to load any O.S. They may

@DingoJunior: I have an AMD dual core processor. It was 85 bucks, cheap phenom. I can go into the bios and turn it into a quad core. Im not angry at AMD for downclocking the processor... Its like you said. Manufacturing one line of processors exactly the same and then limiting them via software does make economic

@BeakerTronics: Dont have to be a genius to figure that one out... but apparently it helps a little bit.

@Batmanuel: I drive an old "spartan" e30 bmw. Gotta say, still will out handle (not really fair about 2k$ in suspension) and out accelerate most stuff of the road. I drive i5 and i405 every day too. Terrible traffic its true, but we got some great mountain roads for driving during the summer.

@medopal: ... They were making a calendar. They were not "Using a simple bootstrap sampling analysis, to calculated when a logistic curve fit to such an event"

@schunniky: That is the "faith" that I have as well. Not to troll this, but I believe that faith in humanity is more important, real, and beneficial to all than any religion out there. Optimism for projects like this, along with peace for humankind is hard for some to understand.

@rcs914: ahhh cloacal humor!

@typica1cat: I saw the northern lights down in Vancouver Canada on the UBC campus at hockey camp around 2002. Pretty cool stuff.

@redman042: I think that was just the intro to get acclimated. Its like reading a book or watching a movie. A 60 dollar movie. Remember that you would probably be able to have your girlfriend watch with you.

@SodaJerk: I could, I suppose do that without being impolite... but you just don't deserve it.

@mile13: I mentioned above, but there is a Ted talk with the creator of the vending machine.

@DrGonzho: Calls it like he sees it.

@Kcm117: Agreed... He is going to come out of there as a real criminal.

One step closer to Ghost in the Shell!

@junior ghoul: Do you really think its going to be using a LASER? Come on, he isn't being a jerk. If you want to see a jerk look at my comment. Im a jerk. Watch... Shut up Junior Ghoul! You write dumb comments with nothing to back em up!
