I think the problem with WW1984 for me was that I already knew the outcome in that nothing really happens in the outside world. Otherwise, we would have known about it in BvS (“You were the one that stopped the nuclear scare of 1984?”). But it was made clear she was well hidden within society. I would have been happy

I assume that Roku would also get the rights to all the shows that Quibi bought the rights to but didn’t produce yet? I wonder if Roku went through each right or was it like an episode of Storage Wars where there was just a box of scripts but they can’t look through it to assess it’s value.

I don’t know why these console makers don’t do tiered pricing. Set the expectation to the audience from the very beginning that from Nov - Jan, the price is XX. Then from Jan - April, the price is XY. Then from April - onwards, the price is YY. It would be up to the consumer if they want it that badly to pay a markup

Did it feel like 12 hours when playing? I played a map of C&C for 5 hrs and it certainly didn’t feel like it.

I’ve never heard of this brand here on the east coast.

You don’t just go to the Mayo Clinic wily nily. It sounds like it took 11 months to diagnose his condition which says something about our healthcare. or that he was too “manly” to go to the Dr. which says something about our society. or that he delayed going to the Dr due to cost which again says something about our

If someone checked their emails on my laptop and didn’t sign out, I still don’t have the right to look through it, right? Just like I don’t have the right to go through someone’s unlocked and wide open front door to their house.

I clicked on this article thinking something was going to happen to my windows laptop. Whew...glad it’s not.

I disagree with you on the numbers keypad.  Accounting and Finance groups need that keypad to work efficiently.  And it’s really no excuse for a laptop that big to not have one.

Man, just reading the synopsis is pretty depressing.

I’m surprised Apple didn’t buy them first for their Fitness+ app to compete against Peleton.

I’m curious how Blumhouse will now be able to attract top tier actors for his movies post covid as I read that the only way he signs them is if he offered back end revenues like a cut of ticket sales since he doesn’t like going over a budget of $3m per movie.

Can you imagine something like Luke doing archeological research for texts and relics for a culture or system that ended only 20 years before his time? That’s like archeologist finding old Aztec temples now but as if the Aztecs disappeared back in 1990. And the archeologist going “there is so much we don’t know about

When my niece and nephews come over my parents house, they always turn on YouTube and watch his videos. I refuse to watch or acknowledge that he’s on tv only because I’m so bitter that he’s making money unboxing toys while I’m looking at my nephews thinking “why can’t they do that too?”

Games I’ve completed in 2020

I think....I think why this didn’t succeed was that Joel S was trying to do his signature humor ala Robocop, Starship Trooper, etc. but do it for the whole movie and bring it down to PG-13.  If he was making a Deadpool movie, I think his style would have worked.

Aliens: So...you are the Guardians of Earth?

Wow. I didn’t realize Neflix’s analytics are so good that it can forecast renewing a 3rd season without even airing the 2nd season.

What US technologies and parts does DJI use? The chips? If so, they just need to wait till Huewei develops their chips soon.
