They’re exclusively a shady way to make money.

The DLC’s are all just cosmetic items for people that wanna support the developers further than just the cheap early access fee.

As for the early access part, fair enough. Especially, if you have AMD hardware. I’ve seen lots of reports from people having issues with AMD CPUs/GPUs.

That said, I didn’t even realize it

I miss Farscape. Just so wonderfully weird. Maybe once I’m all caught up on the Expanse.

Honestly a torn pair of old purple sweat pants is what I would expect most crypto bros wear.    Hulk also famously loves eating beans, which I imagine a lot of basement dwelling crypto bros also indulge in

Nah, nah, this is all cool and good. There will be some cryptobros (who are definitely not panicking) coming by to explain shortly.

I fire real guns semi-regularly and videogame guns extremely regularly...

There is nothing, NOTHING in a videogame that can prepare you for that level of force and power.

Nothing can prepare you for the first time a round gets jammed, and for half a second you feel like you’re holding a timebomb.

and besides that, I’ve

I wasn’t trying to imply he did, just that the laughably maniacal villains of our science fiction past have become the real world rulers of our stupid as fuck present.

This is all just the MMO boom repeating itself. Companies see 1 or 2 successful efforts at a Live Service game and want to make all the money too. But they fail to see that a) not every game works that way and b) just because you make it doesn’t mean players will arrive. Even if your game is great, when it comes to

Space Marines are the most popular WH40k subfaction. The Imperium is the most relatable faction. Most people are boring and uninspired. They don’t really want anything exotic. They just want things that are easy to learn and digest. See the massive success of CoD or generic-ass Forgotten Realms setting.

I never thought he was going to break out into the real world. I thought it was pretty clear that eveything going on with him and the story Tina was telling was her dealing with loneliness by finding new ways to extend the game. Once you find out the backstory with Roland you’ve got some grief in there too. I thought

The tone of this article comes across - overwhelmingly - as “ugh, these entitled GAMERS are immediately unhappy that they somehow didn’t get enough ‘content’ in their paid DLC”, and that is tone deaf. I expect Fox News to make fun of gamers, not Kotaku. Times changed?

Not the exact same situation, but the inverse is true too. I have multiple games in my ipad that don’t work anymore because they were never updated to work with newer iOS versions, and it fucking sucks. Don’t get me wrong, this is still Apple’s fault, they should include some way for these legacy apps to still work,

  • “I would like to sell this item for 1,655% of what I paid for it.”

There are also a bunch of hidden things in this mode. So far I have located the following:

Makes you wish for the simple times of LAN parties.

If you thought the industry was hostile to journalists before, just wait until SNK starts inviting reviewers to their embassy in Turkey!

Its worse because the dlc cost $100,000 was touted as an investment and doesn’t exist anymore.

Cue the dumbass cryptbros: yOu JuSt DoN’t UnDeRsTaNd CrYpTo BrO tRuSt Me It’S bEtTeR tHaN rEaL mOnEy!!!! now give me some real money for my fake money!
