I haven’t been able to stop playing Frostpunk through Game Pass for like 3 weeks straight now - I know I should play something else but it’s so difficult to put down.

What could POSSIBLY go wrong?!

For real, I’ve tried a few times earlier in the year to get a PS5 from Walmart and it was absolutely insane.

I can’t even find a good GPU for under $1,000, where are you shopping? Also why would I ever get a Chromebook instead of an Xbox Series S? I have a backup Mac Mini that I use for programming, but my problem was not having anything modern to game on.

My REALLY OLD gaming PC finally died last year, and there’s no way I’m replacing it right now due to the price of components. Series S has been really great so far, and after I just recently saw how big the PS5 is I’m kind of glad I didn’t get one yet.

I don’t think the series S is as difficult to get as you’re making it out to seem - they have them in stock at multiple Targets near me. I decided to get one after a few weeks of failing to secure a PS5. I’ll get one eventually, but fuck if I’m going to put that much effort into landing one now.

idk I think the most annoying thing about a PS5 is actually finding one in stock.

This is great news, I’ve been wanting to play this for awhile now since playing Control last year. I’m also pumped to replay Control on my Xbox Series S - I initially played it on PS4 and while it was still SO good, some of the hectic fights caused a lot of graphical issues.

Crusader Kings III is the only Steam game I’ve ever refunded - only because it was during my COVID unemployment and I was entirely too stoned every single day to be able to make it through the tutorial.

Quick update since I’m thinking about Frostpunk still and I really don’t want to actually work while I’m at work: I’ve been playing Frostpunk all week on Xbox and it’s been great. The controls feel awesome and the game is fantastic - just beat the main scenario last night. Thanks for the tips - I’ll have to try XCOM…

After playing Frostpunk on Xbox for the past few days, I have some faith that games like this can be more than just playable using a controller! I have no idea how the menus in CKIII compare, though, but we’ll see...

The people who do this are absolute leeches, so you should be proud of successfully suing them! Nice job, my friend - hope you and your family are safe and happy now.

I wouldn’t care if the trees were even uglier, as long as they gave us a story that wasn’t incredibly stupid. It doesn’t even need to be GOOD, just give me something that doesn’t give me second-hand embarrassment.

Not to mention that he both works out of his home and his family members live with him.
