Although Rebecca + someone’s dad made me anxious, I thoroughly loved this episode. I also just have to say these reviews are always so spot-on and fun to read, so thanks!

That was such a great scene. I always forget how much I love the two of them together, but then scenes like this make me remember how wonderful their chemistry is.

Huh

This is definitely one of my top favorite 99 episodes. They managed to pack so much great stuff into this episode that I had to pause multiple times thinking this was a double episode or something.

We need more people in this world like you! My best friend’s father has been in the hospital for the past 8 years due to debilitating schizophrenia, so this has definitely been on my mind too since he’s been supported by public assistance. He’s been taken out of the home he’s in a few times and things did not go well

Glad Bob ended the episode with a win and they didn’t try to wave a magic wand and make Teddy’s hoarding issues just go away at the end.

this can’t pissibly be real!

I won’t give any spoilers away, but at least one of the things you mentioned is addressed immediately in the next episode.

I had no expectations coming into this and was definitely pleasantly surprised. The pilot was entertaining, but the next couple of episodes get better quickly IMO. Eliza Coupe is fantastic, which isn’t a surprise, and she plays so well off everyone.

I always have to remind myself that letter grades are relative to the series itself. Although “toit nups” (stop autocorrecting it to nips, iPhone) was extremely annoying, I loved how they both had alternating quintessential Amy/Jake themes planned for the wedding. The Boyle/Rosa plot was nice and simple - didn’t make

this deserves all the upvotes.

JLD is amazing, and that is among my favorite Seinfeld scenes purely based on the face she makes. Most of my favorite Seinfeld scenes are based on the many faces of JLD.

but after saying that it sounds like I’m trying to shrug off CK’s actions. I’m not, just trying to say that it’s more common that most people think and regardless of mental illness, it’s their/his responsibility to seek help instead of giving into this fetish.

yes, but I’m sure someone more qualified than me could argue that any paraphilia involving/causing the distress of another would classify you as mentally ill.

happens all the time in NYC on the subway.

The scene was in the preview/teaser that HBO released, but I still lost it and had to pause after that. So good.

My God, I cannot stop watching....

You’re a saint!

Loved Nathanial and his stuffed alligator. He needs another trip to the zoo.

Yeah, that scene could have gone so many different ways — some ways still satisfying, others frustrating — but the way it was played was flawless.
