CyanogenMod has a ton of these kinds of sounds. Here's a bunch in a zip: [www.mediafire.com]

Opt-out? Just ban the damn things.

Opt-out? Just ban the damn things.

"shoppers will erupt when they discover a single light bulb now costs more than a carton of cigarettes and a six-pack of beer" isn't very appropriate for a tech blog.

If they had it so an actual person that actually cares about them was doing the calling this might be effective.

What if you used the mechanical stuff in the turbine to chop up and/or filter out clots?

Overdosing on melatonin basically makes your brain go into "I don't even know what the fuck you're talking about anymore" mode and actually makes it LESS effective.

AIM is still the best thing around for texting people from your computer.

I'm surprised font companies are okay with that sort of distribution method. Obviously, it's awesome, but somewhere a million legal teams are telling developers "well then they'll just save the fonts for themselves and we've lost more business to piracy and communism"

I'm pretty sure doing dangerous stuff and putting it on the internet has been around since before the internet.

If something's designed for print, then a designer/design firm can buy it and use it in their work without having to worry about whether clients have it or not. But if it's designed for screen use, then the only place you can use it is in images.

"It has too many variables to be left to some meatbag" is an equally valid argument

So have the computers manage the predictable parts and leave people to deal with the anomalies

Why is this not more automated?

Isn't the whole point of machines to replace work animals, not the other way around?

You can still just slice the lock open at the key.

You can't open the front doors from inside without manually unlocking them. I don't mind it too much, but having to explain it to everyone can reaaaally get to you.
