Pretty much nothing, unless you have internet service that is at that speed you are never going to see much difference unless you are streaming from a local NAS, and even then you don't need that big of a pipe for streaming music or video.

Besides it simply being nicer that everything is so much snappier, I use it for Video/Audio conferencing during business travel. With clients, bosses, IT, etc...
