I was hoping the iPad Pro would be OSX. Instead, it’s an iPad Plus with an identity crisis.

Chicago’s new tax on pretty much everything isn’t helping. I wanted to buy a place downtown but now I’m not so sure. They’re still in the hole with underfunded liabilities and programs and even a significant (and extremely likely) tax hike won’t help. Which is too bad because I *love* Chicago.

I think he’s saying that, theoretically, one could have a crazy powerful processor in a poorly cooled device. Used mobile-ly, the device could only run at 10% power such that it wont need sophisticated cooling and wont nuke the battery. Then, when needed, it could be docked and run (and cooled) full bore for home…

Yeah! They definitely have their rewards. I saw that having bicycle specific stop lights made people significantly more compliant. Don’t get me wrong - I definitely support bicycle infrastructure especially in congested areas!

People getting their panties in a bunch over a cycle/scooter in a parking spot always baffles me. Unless space is at a premium, inconveniencing the rider to find a more appropriately sized spot is not worth whatever few precious seconds it saves a driver.

They did this in Chicago in a number of places. Bicyclists still weave through automotive traffic.
