“It’s similar to how a 3D printer like the MakerBot works, but...” doesnt throw homing errors every print and turn jet engine CAD geometry into spaghetti.

I havent used the Surface but I have used others. There really is no practical difference aside from some hotkeys and screen size. Wacoms have like 4x the pressure sensitivity (1024 vs 256) which is like .2% pressure changes - I am not skilled enough to take advantage of that difference. Nor have I seen the real

Hopefully it runs OSX rather an iOS. Or has that option. Otherwise its all Surface 4 for me.

nVidia cards with Shadowplay are pretty awesome for this, too. Not sure if AMD has a similar hardware offering but the zero impact on performance is amazing.

I really hope Apple doesnt fuck up freemium radio services just to get more people paying for Beats. And if they do, I hope its not “cool” in the eyes of their users.

Play single player in offline mode maybe? Havent tried tried the mods but the offline mode works fine.

Thats some fantastic logic. Counterpoint: No one I talk to has connection issues with the game so its fucking perfect the way it is :)

Thats because the issues arent as widespread as those who experience them think they are.

Got excited when I skimmed and saw “Comcast is dead.” Less excited now, but still happy.

Also, it disables itself for online play.

I wish:
1) No building in the background.
2) Cropped so its blurred light and diagonal (gradiated) lines.

Yeah Im well aware of it! There was a mention of Tmo being the new partner. The 5GB/mo limit detail stood out to me since its the same on my Tmo :)

$30/mo 100 minutes and unlimited data throttled at 5gb!

FWIW: My Tmo unlimited plan throttles at 5GB as well. Not sure if this is a standard or not but it may be another check in the Tmo-as-their-partner box.

The process is pretty slow... Much more so than molding though not necessarily machining. That said, its very possible the geometry is simply not moldable or it would be otherwise unrealistically complex.

I doubt its illegal if you’re not law enforcement and mostly going about your business. Asking people to keep an eye out for suspects or illegal activity is pretty commonplace. More specific information doesnt seem to put it in a grey area. Now if they wired you up and started barking orders through an earpiece, that

Right on!
“Processing power shouldnt be an issue since the rendering doesnt have to be real time.” :) Ingame preview for composing then defer the rendering! I stand by “possible!”

How so? Its the same hardware as a traditional PC, just less of it.

Not necessarily. Could they do it? Sure. Should they? Doubt it. Theres nothing *technically* stopping them except a question of value... And they already got 99% of their console money. Best for last, right?

I was thinking in regards to the cinematic qualities that the consoles are lacking relative to PCs. HD+ resolutions, high level texture filtering, refined shadow/reflection rendering and post processing effects like depth of field are possible but cannot be done realtime due to their processing power.
